commentors in that video say they are not employees and have had Powershare installed for weeks so i guess it IS outVery interesting! I wonder if they got permission from Tesla to release this video as 3V Gateway isn’t officially out yet
Not only is 3V not “officially” out yet.. the PowerShare firmware isn’t out yet either.commentors in that video say they are not employees and have had Powershare installed for weeks so i guess it IS out
Two meters? Please elaborateThey call out in the video that the wall connector will come off a breaker in the 3V Gateway. Does anyone know how this would work (if it even can at all) when you have two meters?
I have my main meter powering my house and an EV only/time of use meter that goes to my 2018 version (v2?) wall connector. I got a confirmation that I was eligible and good to go for the powershare install, so I assume there is a way, but I don't understand how that would work
if its being installed in regular customers houses its "official" enough, and yea they were complaining because of the software and its not comissioned yet.Not only is 3V not “officially” out yet.. the PowerShare firmware isn’t out yet either.
It’s definitely commissioned. We can’t leave a job site without commissioning.if its being installed in regular customers houses its "official" enough, and yea they were complaining because of the software and its not comissioned yet.
Perhaps i used the wrong terminology, commissioned to me means fully functional. It’s definitely commissioned. We can’t leave a job site without commissioning.
The powershare firmware isn’t out until June
he can still charge his car
Currently, it is fully functional, except for the ability to send power from the CT into the house. He should now be able to monitor his consumption through the Tesla app. Additionally, if he has solar, he should also be able to view his production. thats not fully functional then. but it dosnt matter yea we knew the software was lagging behind, seems understandable. 4 months seems a little long tho to me. and for me ill probbally end up not paying for it anyways due to the price and just backfeed using the 14-50 in the truckCurrently, it is fully functional, except for the ability to send power from the CT into the house. The power splits as it enters my main meter, and that split goes off to a second meter that has a discount rate for EV charging only. I attached some pics with the last one showing how it's routedTwo meters? Please elaborate
is one a house main and one a tenant?
wow you dont need to have any conduit or shielded cable for that mains cableThe power splits as it enters my main meter, and that split goes off to a second meter that has a discount rate for EV charging only. I attached some pics with the last one showing how it's routed
This page talks about the second meter under EV Rate (D1.9)
