I posted this over in the most used modifications thread, but also wanted to create a new post on it. I saw similar posts in the Rivian forum (when we were researching Rivian & pop-up campers), and since these types of posts were helpful to me, I thought this post might be helpful to someone here.
The availability of bolt-on racks that allow pop-up campers made the decision to buy the Cybertruck an easy one for us. We decided to go with the Cybertruckco camper due to the overall durability (stainless panel construction), smooth exterior, rear closing/locking hatch, and a cohesive design (We have had people ask us when Tesla started making these, haha).
As far as I know, this is the only wedge style camper for the Cybertruck that has access to the bunk from the bed of the truck on the market. (We have seen other prototypes but this is the only one that I know of that's in production.) This makes it super handy for us as we can flip up both halves of the bed to allow a hang out area for inclement weather. We are still building it out, but coming from a VW Vanagon Westfalia background, we have high hopes for much simpler build but with the same usefulness.
The build quality is very solid and modifiable and you really don't feel like you have a camper on the truck when you're on the road. We tend to do a lot of camping throughout California and wanted something that would get us into forest roads, Death Valley, etc with an easy camping setup or make camping stops at campgrounds much easier. So far I have spent a couple nights camping, and the mattress that comes with it has been comfortable.
I posted a couple places as it's a relatively new product and certainly don't mind getting the word out about it. I feel it's solidly built and a good value. I had this installed down in San Diego by Cybertruckco. www.cybertruckco.com My experience was excellent and I would recommend them.
We also added the internal stainless Molle panels (also holds insulation against the sides), and will upfit them with boxes, accessories, catch-alls, etc. I'll probably put some more posts up as we get further along in the build, but hopefully this information can help someone else who's researching.
