Front AND rear hitch receiver. Can the tailgate be removed? If not, a removable tailgate. Front AND rear charging ports.
I would like a second charge port toward the front but I can't say I've been in a situation yet where I needed it. Granted I don't have an electric truck

Giant lithium power station that mounts into the front trunk to act as a small range extender for the truck. When disconnected it acts as a normal power station to run items, when mounted it charges from the truck battery. Can also charge from solar or wall when unmounted.

Could be used as an oh shit gas can solution to get a couple more miles in a pinch.

Would be great for camping.

I’d like to see zero-emission camp cookery: hot plate, griddle, grill, water heater. I know such things exist for 120v but I want custom pieces designed for 48v.

Conversely, there must be solar charging of some kind.
Heating is extremely wasteful with electricity. If they add these features they should be propane.

I shouldnt have said wasteful. Propane is about 100 times more energy dense than a battery. Everything in the world doesn't need to be electric and its important to acknowledge where gas just makes way more sense.

Fair point

If we have solar and storage though, I would still rather have electric cooking/heating. Because you'll run out of propane before I run out sun.

98.5% sure the rear window rolls down.

Brush guard could be cool. Anyone photoshop that yet?
Yes, 98.5% sure the rear window rolls down too. So air can flow from cabin to vault if you sleep in there.

I want a ducted refrigerator/freezer for the frunk. It needs to be heat ducted because of the high temperatures in the desert where I intend to operate the vehicle.

My suggestions, stating the obvious first:

1. compressed air connections, power outlets, light bars, ladder/lumber rack, rubber floor mats, bull bar etc.

2. Regardless of wether the solar tonneau makes it or not, it would be really great to have a battery maintainer solar panel. I would probably integrate it in the sun visors so you could just fold them down and they likely already have wiring pathways.

3. Power to home feature

4. I have said for a while that a PTO, power take off, like they have on tractors would be revolutionary and i have listed a ton of accessories that it could power in other posts. But what about just this basic one. Lets say you want to pressure wash the truck. The pump on a pressure washer is small relative to the heavy motor. What if you could just slide the pump right onto a PTO and hook up the hoses and go rather than drag out a big pressure washer set up. It would be so simple for them to create a small clutch assemble and PTO outlet.

5. Winch. so lets talk about the winch. If they just give us another motor mounted to the bumper i will be unimpressed. I want to see some clever engineering to get a pully getting power from one of the main motors.

6. Coffee warmer in the cup holder. How about a gimble coffee cup holder.

7. It would be really cool to have the main display detach so you can use it like a notepad. A lot of tradespeople travel with notepads and if we could integrate their software/apps into the tesla ecosystem and use the main display as a tablet that would greatly simplify their lives.

8. Motorcycle wheel hold downs.

9. 6th seat.

10. Post base in the bed for attachments like wheelchair lifts, zip line tie downs, parasailing anchor, material lift.

11. Built in tie downs with electronic controllable tensioning.

12. It would be cool if it had a motorized method of getting material out of the truck. similar to how lumber drops work but a little nicer. Lets say there are three motorized roller bars that pop up slightly out of the bed and the truck will lean itself back and engage the rollers and ramp to move equipment out. Lets say I am taking a load to the dump and i throw a sheet of plywood on the bed to protect it and once i get to the dump the CT will roll that plywood out and dump the load on the ground without having to do some wild maneuver or to try to pull the load off the truck with rope. Or what if its a pallet of sod and it can roll it out and down the ramp. Yes the truck would need to pull forward somewhat. But being able to just load up the bed and not have to get a separate trailer or manually unload is huge.

13. Replaceable truck bed and tailgate upper edge protection extrusions. So you can slide building materials in and not damage the truck or the material

14. Titanium skid plates and bumpers

15. Camper shell

16. They need a universal connection system on the exterior shell with simple attachment points so they can make basic camping stuff that mounts right to the side of the truck. Like a table, bbq, shower, pooper, chairs, cot. Its so much nicer if that stuff doesn't sit in the dirt where the legs can get dirty. Especially if it rains or is windy

17. Last but likely most important. Typical solar racking attachment points. I know we keep seeing the renderings of these elaborate solar arrays systems attached to the CT Roof. They are all stupid and will likely jamb and weigh a ton. If you have ever installed solar or bought solar equipment yourself you will know that there are a handful of companies and they all basically make the same type of rails and clips etc. Its not that complicated and it doesn't need to be. If for some reason you are going somewhere for a week and you need to take 8 regular 400W panels with you and charge for a week to fill the truck back up, it is actually a very good idea to use the truck as an anchor for the system and most commercial rails can mount to and cantilever over the truck sides. Even if Tesla came up with two main support beams that would run parallel up the two sail pillars and stick out above the roof so you could mount 4 to 6 perpendicular Ironridge rails and put 8 panels up there. With an impact driver you could have this assembled in an hour if Telsa had supports ready to go. They would ideally need to have some way to input the solar to charge as well. Ideally a direct DC input. They really should do this. The CT is so ideal for it. You could literally go camping and leave with a full charge. The panels would take up about 1/2 the vault space.

A bed tent like they rendered would be awesome. Winch. Be cool to see some functional/style additions like running boards, etc.
Heimplanet partnered with Alpha motors to make some cool inflatable bed tents. That would be awesome.

A PTO on a CT is called an extension cord.

1. snowplow
2. winch
3. able to load in a 4x8 sheet of plywood without damaging the truck or looking like an idiot.
4. tie downs
5. Steering wheel dash display for charge percentages and speed.

.... and for pities sake.... that front windscreen and front side window defrost had better work - because you missed the vents for the side window defrost in the S and when it fogs up it fogs up quick.
