one of the major reasons that I put a deposit on a CT on day one was because of the stainless steel. I live in Canada and I am tired of washing my vehilces and applying rust protection once per year and paste wax at least twice a year to see them rust away anyways.

No colours or wraps, just a pressure washer when it is covered in mud.

Sadly, stainless steel is not immune to rust, just very rust resistant. It will get some aesthetic rust especially if exposed to salt etc so keep that paste wax !

Sadly, stainless steel is not immune to rust, just very rust resistant. It will get some aesthetic rust especially if exposed to salt etc so keep that paste wax !
Absolutely right....stainless just oxidizes at a slower rate. Just take a clean cloth and a little metal cleaner and wipe your fridge or sink, if it is stainless steel. That black film is oxidation. It then CT stainless was simple 304 and not 304L, (low carbon + molybdenum) it might develop rust spots around salt water.
