I am working on prototypes on a few frp composite poptoppers. Took 2 years to get my patent and spent the last year fine tuning the details of my panels. The shape of the topper can be more angled in the front to fit the CT lines, these mainly will be used for trucks and vans.
Idea behind my design is a flat panel shell diy kit shipped like a king size bed
A friend of mine said do a quick rendering for me on a CT. Should weigh as shown about 250lbs.
Topper size 8.3 x 5 and hope around 4 feet to top of the cab. When popped total of just under 8 feet interior, to make the small space feel roomy.
If they ever do come out you might see one of these out in the wild.
