No matter what car or truck, the ideal is always less vehicle and more space.

I still think the equipment packaging behind the CT frunk is rather sub-optimal, given that it's essentially the same as the MY setup, but the CT is much larger, and has some 1000L (270gallons) of volume just under the dash alone. That's more volume than a MY boot.

At some point in the future I'm still hoping they'll use axial flux pancake motors in the wheels, with that they'll create a lot more useable internal volume.
I been told before to 'GET THE FLUX OUT OF HERE'

just out of curiosity.. why do you need 110V outlets in the truck?
Powered 2 frig's, several lights, fan, TV, router during 3 power outages we have had over the last 9 months. Hardly used any battery each day of each outage. Was wonderful to have.

eMTB (110v) and eMoto charging (220v)

Charge other EV's in a pinch
It's a truck, outlets add to the multipurpose nature- why wouldn't it have outlets - there's no reason not too!
...

Imagine going to the motocross track in a CT (120kw+ battery) and then pulling out a gas generator to charge an electric motorcycle vs. using the massive battery sitting right there!

The IONIQ5 can do it - but a bit tough to load the bike, lol. CT should fit the part better! FYI that bike is a Stark Varg (6.5kw battery, charges 110/220) - hope to receive mine this month (not as delayed as the CT but it's sure taken it's sweet time)

This was the vehicle I really wanted. I’d probably take it over a Cybertruck. If it existed (which it doesn’t) and wasn’t priced in the 6 digit range.
Yeah, these are very cool. I guess in concept now .
the main issue if I remember correctly is that range was forecasted to be very low.

Stark Varg looks awesome...even though I'm not enough of a two wheel bike fan to buy one. Yet... :)

I think it was 200 miles. So yeah, pretty tight. Still, that’s the vehicle I wanted. Also everything was designed to be upgradable so maybe down the line a bigger battery could’ve worked.

Actually, he will find that the brake paddle is closer to the storage area in the cyber truck than it is in the F-150
it’s really not

driver position to front bumper is ~identical between both vehicles

the volume differences for “stuff” appears to come from 3 factors overlapping

1. CT is simultaneously ~4” shorter, while having a ~7” longer bed, meaning there is ~12” less available length in the CT

2. the F150‘s frame type allows for a good amount of ‘chase’ area under the vehicle

3. the CT likely has some more “stuff” - eg, it’s climate control hardware may be substantially larger, fitting both adjustable air suspension and 4-wheel steer

That's a couple of "ifs" too many.

Frunk envy is a despicable feeling accompanied by general dissatisfaction with live itself. And understandable so. And while I would never judge another by the size of their frunk, I certainly would not like my daughter to marry someone with a such an undersized front storage area. Statistics have shown us that frunk size has little bearing on real frunk satisfaction. And while I doubt anyone actually believes this frunk size dribble, mistruths continue to this day.

Of course it’s easy to downplay such a trivial aspect of a truck when you have the BIGGEST FRUNK in the civilized world! Not that I’m bragging or anything.

Ok I’ll stop now.
It’s not the size of the frunk. . .

Unfortunately yes, that’s how things turned out.

I’m still eager to see what Suzuki does with the Jimny EV but that’s likely a few years out.
