I'm glad this has turned out to NOT be a Cybertruck problem.
I'm glad the damage was minimal and the injuries will be recovered from quickly.
I'm glad this is coming out publicly show that the Cybertruck is good and not bad.
I'm glad that another attacker (in whatever form) has not gotten away with it (justice/motive/etc would have been preferred).

This really sucks that it is happening at all much less how frequently we are seeing attacks.

Apparently the driver pulled up and never got out of the vehicle.

Haven't seen who or why yet.

There are a few unanswered questions here in that as an intentional act, it seems more like a suicide statement rather than a attack meant to hurt other people. Otherwise possibly a botched attack that was triggered prematurely?

The combination of accelerants seems somewhat haphazard.

The point is it doesn't seem well executed, from the choice of vehicle (it's meant to withstand 9mm rounds, has tracking and they had to bring their own fuel) to the location and as others of said, they could of driven it inside etc.

Seems more like someone has lost the plot and chose many things poorly and it wasn't a "professional" job.
Not necessarily in this case, but the number one skill to have as a contract killer is the ability to guarantee that a completed job looks like gross negligence and incompetence in the eyes of the laymen.

You know, kind of like the assassination of Princess Diana. ?‍♂

Ok, let's hash it out a little.

musk is saying that he/they have "confirmation" that it's either one of two things.

Those two things he posited are a chasm of things.

Can we at least agree that a confirmation means that you know what it is?
Sometimes knowing what it isn’t aids in knowing what it is.

This truck seriously ate that explosion for breakfast. VERY impressive!
Puts real perspective on that crash with those teenagers a few weeks back.

It’s like this person believed all the FUD and instead of using an ICE vehicle which would’ve been devastating, he was literally hoisted by his own petard!

Not all professionals are smart, and it looks like whoever planned this came from the far, far left side of the isle. So, I wouldn't expect them to be very smart in the first place.

Even the tailgate didn’t blow away. That thing can cause some serious damage if it shoots away like a projectile! Totally impressed! Just wow!
Holy moly! Again, it’s not often that you can say somebody was hoisted by their own petard as a literal statement of fact! ?
