Wondering the same! Didn’t have one in my profile. Now I do.

Man, I’m stoked for so many of you, but I haven’t received my invite. Thought I’d jump in for some troubleshooting.

-I’m a minute 3 res holder: 112744XXX
-Based in SoCal
-Not a current Tesla owner
-Didn’t have address listed on my profile (sure as hell do now)
-Am a stockholder, have been for 8 years
-Selected Tri Motor with FSD

I was sure with my 112744 res I’d be getting something by now, especially seeing non current Tesla owners in 1128 res’s getting the email. Bummed. Hope it comes through soon!

I didn’t receive an email but I went into the Tesla website to check on my order and I had a configuration option that offered me the Foundation series.

I have a second preorder that I put in about 5 minutes after the first one (the website was crashing on day one during the unveil and I wasn’t sure if my first one got in)

only the earliest one was available for preorder:
* RN112757xxx - configured
* RN112773xxx - not configurable

* I'm in San Antonio Texas.
* Day one 30 seconds from url announcement for preorder - website was crashing at that time.
* Other teslas on my account
* Full Tesla solar and power walls on the account

Buddy I would take the DM as well. No doubt. That 1 Second isn't worth it.

By far the best version I think for actually using it as well.
For collecting the TM might be rarer, but you'd also have to wait longer to get it.

The foundation edition comes with FSD, Powershare etc, so it's also a good deal from that side of it as well, so you aren't paying that much of a premium in the end, unless of course you didn't want those features. Also you can just sell it back to Tesla before the year is up and get a new DM with $20k +$7500 off, as per the reseller thread I linked to above.
If you tried that with Tesla they would be onto you like a fly on cowshit. Tesla reserves the right to refuse service and if you tried that kind of stunt, you would be lucky if they ever sold you another car again. At best you would be at the end of the line, a line that's going to keep getting a longer tail through next year.

Remember, Tesla doesn't want to buy a used Cybertruck back from you because that's not their real business. The "no re-selling" clause is only in there to prevent a secondary market of Cybertrucks flipping at highly speculative prices from developing. They will not re-purchase your Cybertruck without it involving repercussions as to your ability to source another one.

@JBee , it makes me wonder what you're smoking.

I got my email to configure!

RN11276XXXX
  • Dallas, TX
  • Never been a Tesla employee (though I've thought about applying)
  • Day 2 reservation at 5 pm that somehow got a day 1 reservation number. The site was buggin so I think it held the number for me until I finalized the preorder the next day
  • Selected Dual Motor
  • Selected FSD
  • Current Tesla owner
  • Current wall connector installed
  • Have a solar panel design with powerwall pending
  • Bought two Cybertruck shirts from the shop ?
I want the tax credit so while yeah this will be a collector's item we've seen how prices can drop pretty swiftly within and after a year (Plaid under $90K).

I also don't want to start the design and then not configure and potentially get moved to the back of the line. Or even configure, drop the $250 order fee, and cancel up to or when the build is finished.

I was expecting to pay $60K when my time came, then $80K after delivery day pricing, and now the option presented is $100K.

This is a conundrum.

Wrong thread dude!

But how is it now "wrong" to sell it back to Tesla? That's what they want in the contract isn't it? To buy it off you if you want to sell it???

And if they don't you can sell it to someone else. Now they have just added a Foundation premium, and afterwards it's $20k cheaper for the same thing.

My real question is why your head is smoking now. ?

Just shows how dumb their clause is.

But lets discuss there instead...this is the Foundation orders thread.

I heard a little birdie recommended your name for Elon's little black book! ?‍♂
At least I'm in there. You will continue to be ignored.

Unlike you, EM thrives on negative feedback. ?
