Just got my foundation email! so stoked. Upon seeing the CB delivery not until late 2024. I opted for the dual motor which says Jan - March

so it didn’t say mid to late 2024. Just late 2024?

Yeah I think you’re right it said mid-late. But I’m tired of waiting

Can you give any insight as to whether the Foundation Series cap is still 1,000 units?
Common sense says they're going to sell the CT as FS for the next year, at minimum. There's no reason for them to limit FS to 1000 trucks. Why in the world would they sell a CT in any trim for 20k less at this point when they have over 1M reservation holders. I reserved on reveal and I just got my invite. If I take too long to decide or pass they'll offer my slot to the next group of 20k reservation holders until they fill out the projected run for Q1, Q2, Q3, and Q4.

Even if 99.5% of reservation holders chose not to buy, every truck they make for the next 2 years will be sold for an extra $20k. AND they'll knock out the reservation list, because technically you're getting the first crack at buying a CT.

well, that or anything like it is definitely not Tesla’s current plan

But would be a wild alternate Marvel universe!

I'd better redo my math...

...at 95% attrition they'll sell every CT made in 2024.

of course

basically irrelevant to the separate issue of whether they force all AWD CT’s built/sold through 2024 to be Foundation units.

with Tesla, never say never

but just injecting that is not the internal, official, plan now or ever previously

With the Cyberbeast, on the other hand, they are forced into that being not the plan but the consequence of not being able to build them fast enough to deliver even 500 before year end. They could surprise themselves on the prospective bottleneck estimates and come in sooner, or later.

But the AWD is a separate matter

RN 11274... Really wanted the Cyberbeast, but the range, coupled with 120k didn't make sense to me. Also, the aftermarket lightbar is the only added option exclusive to the Cyberbeast and didn't like the look of it.

FINALLY!!! May you all get your allocations soon! I also put down a $500 deposit for the range extender.

Edit: Non-employee, did not have a Tesla linked to this account, so it looks like they're actually going by the RN numbers, albeit prioritizing TX and CA
ok it's been quite some time. Did you get a vin?

Hmm, I got my email on 11/23/19 at 2:51 AM local PST. I was wondering if I ordered it in middle of the night, so is it possible I ordered on 11/22 which is the Friday 1 day after reveal? My RN is 11285 though, what is yours?
I ordered mine the night of the reveal and received my order confirmation the next morning, Nov 22, 2019 at 8:50am CST.
