I have 2 orders that were done within a few mins of each other. I have a single motor no FSD and a Tri motor with FSD. I done 2 because i was unsure if they would do the single or tri motor first but weirdly i have not been sent a Foundation series offer on the single motor even though it was ordered before the tri motor. I would prefer to use the single motor pre order as the foundation series includes FSD and i have it locked in on the Tri motor pre order for the $5k. Has anyone had a foundation series offer on multiple pre orders at the same time or even a offer of foundation series on the single motor? Im worried that foundation beasts will be back ordered until into next year and i want the option of using the other pre order on a AWD if the Beast drags out for too long. I am already seeing people with early beast foundation orders getting pushed more and more out with delays.

I just got my invitation to order the Foundation Series also. It says delivery Jan - March of '24. I don't want the foundation series, do we think that we'll get a future offer for our regular (non FD) cars in the future if we just ignore this offer?

I think Tesla is trying to only offer 1 FS truck to each customer, regardless of the number and type of CT(s) reserved.

If thats the case then thats annoying. They should have used my Single motor no FSD pre order instead of my Tri motor FSD option as i could have then purchased a AWD and got it early and when the standard Beast was released i could have ordered that with the FSD. Now i have no option than to wait for a non foundation series option. I Don't need all the extra fluff it comes with for the Extra $15k over the standard non foundation version. I guess if i dont get the foundation series i will have to wait until every pre order has been offered the chance at a FE version before normal verion orders open.

That's what i'm worried about. Are they gonna offer foundation to every pre order as long as the orders keep coming in i don't see why they would stop offering it. Then they will open up to normal priced orders after that which could be years.

If Tesla does what they've done in the past the low trim (i.e., single motor) version won't be available until the dual and tri motors sales stall, could be a while.

No doubt they will keep taking Foundation Series pre-orders and $$$.

i believe the pre order FSD was 7k, not 5k, but more importantly, I would not assume this is a guarantee. I ended up ordering AWD FS, because I fully assume they will not lock in our previous 7K FSD price.

This was my concern and the only reason I ordered the Foundation AWD now. Did not want to wait any longer.

Remember the "call in" $35k Model 3? You could not order it on the website, phone orders only. Tesla may pull the same shenanigans with the $61k RWD Cybertruck.

Yup, Tesla is likely to sell as many FS as they can, going through the whole list of reservation holders offering to let people jump the line for an extra $27k
Hopefully that is not the case but it looks like it might be that way with all the emails continuing to go out.

Tesla need to be real careful doing that. I want an electric truck and if that ends up happening I will buy a rivian or a F150 once they goto NACs. They already jumped the prices up way more than people expected and lower ranges and if they pull this stunt with allowing people with more money to jump the line after I pre ordered on day 1 will rub a lot of buyers up the wrong way. They could end up costing them more from lost sales than the extra they charged on FS versions.

I agree in principle, although I am really surprised by some Tesla fans, applauding the higher prices and lower range numbers coming in, not all by any means but a ton of people saying they appreciate that. May be stockholders and not vehicle purchasers.
But yea, be interesting.

This is similar to when I put the deposit for my Model 3. I reserved the 35k version but they contacted me asking to get the 50k version instead because it was ready. I ended up getting the more expensive one cause I didn't want to wait any longer. I was very happy with the car though.

And I'm pretty sure at this point they are going to run the whole reservation list and try and sell the Foundation ones. And won't be able to make regular ones this year. Which is how they got me again! Haha
