If one is using Tesla as financing that has to be done. So the contract for the financing is set up with third party. The loan period won't start till delivery.

Some make a super big deal about this. Number one rule if you are that bent about it. Decline delivery if super unhappy with something you don't think can be fixed. If you don't it all becomes service.

Since you have experience dealing with Tesla and i assume their financing… If i accept the financing offer through the app, am i locked in to that? Or can i switch lenders if i find a better deal?

As long as you don’t accept the offer. I did it on day 12/8 but I didn’t like the terms so I went to my bank and got a better deal. Next day I had to call them and have them decline the offer and reopen the Financing page so I could enter the new bank info. Took 30 mins to get hold of someone and less than 1hr for them to reopen the finance options.

There is such thing as refinancing. And doable multiple times until the entire koan is paid.

Refinancing car loans just don't seem like a good thing to do to me. Didn't even thing

Add provided proof of insurance.

I think that it also may be sign 1 paper or just accept it in the app.
If you do everything the "Tesla way" they make it pretty darned easy.

Correct. I was able to submit my wire and now it shows that my final payment is complete. My next category is Insurance once I get a VIN.
Once you get a Vin and provide insurance information the next step is to schedule a delivery date once applicable. Then on the day of delivery while at the delivery center you will be asked to accept the terms in your app and that’s that

Just a reminder, that will probably require commercial insurance and that may be costly. Also, different registration and tags possibly.

There is nothing that says I have to make the remittance ASAP. So I have not. I figure that would come when I date specific for delivery.

Same for me in AZ...perhaps it's state based policy. I have a downpayment number but no need to handle beforehand.
