No one is saying the Cybertruck can't tow, and cannot tow a lot of weight.

It just can't tow it over 100 miles.

We all know Elon is a BS'er. He lies all the time. I never took the numbers he claimed years ago as reality, just like I knew he was full of s*it about the Cybertruck being able to act as a boat.

Let me guess, there's some people upset it's not a boat either?

How about the Roadster, which is still not here after more than a half decade after he took/stole deposit money from people in 2017? He said the Roadster will even had cold thrusters and have an option to hover! Lol ! HOVER!

The guy is crazy and he's obviously having some mental crisis with Twitter / X and is no longer a reliable source of information for anything. Period

At the end of the day if you need to tow a relatively far distance, EVs are just not a realistic option for you. The main problem is you just need to stop believing Elon and his claims, he's a salesman and a liar and nothing he says typically comes true.
And that craziness has created the #1 in splaceflight company, doing things that had been previously proven as impossible.

And that crazy man created the #1 selling car in the world!!!!

and honestly, I wish he would buy and destroy all of the social media companies. he's be doing the world a favor.

That's cool and all, personally, I wish he'd focus on growing and improving Tesla and not screwing around with social media companies.

He's so intelligent, but he's let fame and popularity get to his head and has put Tesla on the backburner. We don't need a guy like Elon to disrupt social media and tweet all day, we need a guy like Elon to stick to grown up things like Tesla and SpaceX.

Imo the Cybertruck would be even better today, and the Roadster would be closer to release had he not become obsessed with tweeting and then buying Twitter.

Your point is? Not a single picture that I saw suggested long-haul towing.

I've told you for a while that all of your estimations of towing range were off.

So I guess it is time that you lock up shop and move and leave the forum? Since this seems to be the umpteenth time that the Cybertruck has disappointed you?
No one is buying it fur long haul towing. I have not seen a single person in 4 years say they want to to be able to long haul tow. People who tow around town are buying it just as most other 1/2 tons. If you are long haul towing get a 3/4+ ton. But when it can’t tow my trailer to the nearest town there and back towing a small trailer that’s a problem and it’s a problem that will come back and bite all buyers not just the people who tow. After the novelty wears off and the results of these rangectests hit the main stream then the sales will drop off a cliff. But with 6months left until mine shows up then they have to to make changes. I doubt that will happen myself but who knows.

For reference, the Hummer EV with the aero dynamics of a barn was able to tow an Airstream >220 miles on a single charge. It has a battery almost twice the size as the CT, so it makes sense.

I think (long distance) towing will be a lot more practical with the CT range extender.

I have no idea what you mean, your statement is out of context.

Are you talking about the Cybertruck or you leaving the forum for good?
it’s a truck. It was advertised as doing truck things. It can’t do truck things. It can’t get its original range even 4 years later. It can’t even get its current rated range. This will cost more to run that a gas truck and much slower to the destination. Trucks were designed to be used to work not used as a once in a month hardware store run to get a few bags of mulch. The truck that can’t truck. But if range is not important then let’s just drop it another hundred miles. Who needs 200miles of range anyway when most people do less than 40miles a day!

the CT wouldn’t make it 60miles towing that if it struggles to haul a car on a flat bed.

Sure, whatever, I thought that you didn't like and it was time for you to leave.

Okay, sure, point is? For a truck that is much more expensive that the CyberBeast FS I hope that it could do a little more.

Time to go, we don't need to hear your complaining.

You are correct i don’t like the patheticly low range. Would you like a vehicle that only got you 40miles between charges?

Too bad I’m gonna complain because it’s pathetic.

You sound like a broken record.

The forum is for people to offer their different opinions, and discuss it with civility.

Why don't you get off the forum (since you only joined it less than a month ago)

I know that but would slapping “tows the average load about 100 miles” in the video have been bad?
Yes it would have lol.

Some superchargers limit you to 80% charge to keep stalls open, charging from 80-100% takes a LONG time, especially with the CT slow charging times, and 5% is not much of a buffer to get to the next SC, especially when towing.
NIT: Some chargers will change the INITIAL charge limit to 80% (if higher) and display message as such. You always have the option of re-setting that to a higher limit if needed.

That has been my experience.

Not a very aerodynamic load :)
But if in vineyard country likely not a lot of highway? so should be ok as long as you can charge at each end, or if your total trip is sub 50 miles
Yes, vineyards have slow, windy roads.

No, it doesn't need to be aero because it's not on a freeway, speeding.

Stop fibbing and trolling, please.
