It seems they've worked through about 70k of the first 24 hour of reservations... so the take rate for FS may be very low
Consensus is that it's not going in sequential order number by number. So it's not that every one has passed its that only a few thousand have likely been invited.

I would disagree that this is consensus. There is a method to this madness, regionalization, driver type, whatever it is, there is an algorithm.

And since there is no way to "pass" on the email offer and no expiration, you can't make any assumptions here. No flying chance in hell that 70k emails have gone out. I would be willing to bet that greater than 25% of emails gone out are members of this site.

Agreed. When you think about the first 70k orders, you have to remember that it's not just people in the US that could plonk money for a reservation, its worldwide, so lots to filter out there. Some people have multiple orders of which only one may be filled (Maybe for now). And then there's whatever the cancelation rate is after the price shock. All of this would contribute to running through the numbers quickly.

There's definitely some high profile peeps getting to skip the line regardless of number, so classic VIP move, Tesla's alternative to making commercials for TV. And then they're prioritizing California and Texas, probably due to proximity and highest level of interest in the nation?? Home base advantage. And other states tend to be sending emails mostly sequentially from what I can see. I think the method to the madness will become more and more clear with each month.

And may I remind everyone in the room that I totally kinda predicted the arrival of my own email and also someone else's recently. So if you need a prediction: call me.:coffee:
