No VIN ?

Hello everyone, I have been reading through these posts and have found it helpful of everyone that has been posting updates on their orders. Here goes mine.

I originally ordered on reveal night and received the option to purchase a founders edition on 12/21/23. An hour later I went ahead and ordered the AWD. On 12/22/2023 I received the email for Power share home backup. I filled out the email the same day. On 1/29/2024, like many others, I received the email verifying that I qualify for the home backup. Today 2/2/2024 I received my VIN ending in 1458. My RN is 11276. I live in southeast Florida. Good luck to everyone on this forum and hopefully I'll get the truck soon.

Dang. good for you. NO time flat getting to the VIN stage. Taking weeks here for us all.

It's super frustrating that I have an 11275 reservation number that didn't get an invite for FS. But my 11277 DID get an invite. That said, I'm in Nevada just hoping for a VIN someday.

Wow, it is random AF..

The frustrating part is that there is effectively no customer service to talk to about it. I've been a Tesla owner since Feb 2018. Back then customer service was amazing. After the 3 came out, I thought maybe they were just slow to keep up with the number of new owners. Now I'm beginning to think the lack of customer service is a choice. It's a real bummer.

You need to realize, the left hand doesn't talk to the right hand. I deal with the same thing in another field and it gets exhausting with all the "where's my shit?" queries. It takes up a lot of time and money. They will deliver when they deliver.

Omg thanks for this...my timing and reservation number sooner than yours, but are very similar...But I am in Oregon! I never received power share approval though. I was wanting it installed at another home in Indiana though, not here in Oregon.

Actually, OMG haha I thought the email I received 4 days ago was a repeat, but it actually said I do qualify for the power share!!! You are all so amazing ?

Glad to hear you got your VIN,

And yes, I think it was around !2/21 that they first expanded the early Foundation truck invitations to most other states beyond CA and TX.

Chances are Tesla voided his 2nd order thinking he was a speculator buying it just to sell it? That’s my guess.
