Of course. Even more, I would have preferred he never got distracted by Twitter and made the stupid offer to buy it in the first place. Unfortunately he made a bad deal and was legally forced to go through with it. Ultimately the blame rests with himself for stepping out of his lane. He has ability as an engineer and visionary, he has no abilities to run social media.Right so you would of preferred he wasn't forced to sell stock to buy twitter in the end?
First, there is no evidence that he really requires greater control over Tesla, that's something he just said. Do we see him any less in control of the company, other than his own distractions with other businesses? Second, he could have made a similar statement without the threat of taking AI and robotics away from Tesla. Third, if there is any more doubt about it being a threat, it's quite clear that's how it was understood:How could he do it in a "non-threatening" way without risking it?
