We just got our invitation for a Foundation Cybertruck, and did at least some of the steps to continue with it. We are RN112871xxx and I was surprised to be invited already.

We did all the configuration steps and supplied driver’s license images, ID selfies.

I didn’t manage to get a screenshot of the model selection step, but I’m pretty sure it said Feb 2024 - April 2024 for delivery of the 4WD model.

We are at the credit application step. There is a bit of a warning (“are you sure you want to proceed?”) about applying because the application might expire before actual delivery.

Can anyone advise me on that?

Thank you Gurule92. It’s baffling to me how this came up for us. I don‘t think I’ve heard of any other Washington State ones. Oddly enough I went to see one in person at the Bellevue Square showroom last week.

Thanks, AdmiralS ! Do others concur?
I agree to hold off on the financing and start looking around for a good rate at your bank or credit union. Of course, you can go ahead and try Tesla's financing, but it isn't likely your FSCT will arrive before your finance arrangements expire. That happened to me, and I couldn't tell my credit rating dropped. Maybe it isn't a big factor on your credit rating. As far as the trade-in, I wouldn't bother with Tesla as it will be a very low-ball offer. It is pretty clear Tesla doesn't want to be in the used car business. Congrats in Washington! One of my favorite states!

Ward L, I started poking around looking got non-Tesla loans, and it seems like the interest rates are higher, and upper limit of loan amount is much less than what I think I remember Tesla showed during the initial acceptance process. With Tesla I think it was only $11K down and 6.5(??)% for 72 month. That interest seemed high but not after looking around.

In Washington State where might one find a high value car loan with better interest rates? Credit score 830ish.

I think credit unions tend to have better rates. Might be worthwhile to check them out. My Dad was in the Navy, and I can join the Navy CU. The loan I applied for through Tesla was through Chase Bank, where I bank, and the Tesla offer was better than online Chase offers. My Tesla loan was $18k down and 6.59% for 72 months back on January 12. That loan has since expired and now I'll wait until I have a VIN (someday) to open up a CU account. Nice credit score!
