Finally, congrats!
I just received my trade in valuation and approved it today Feb. 29th. That is 7 days after receiving the cybertruck confirmed email. I'm hopeful that that means it will be within 30 days! I've heard it rumored that they don't give you your trade-in valuation or approval until they're within the expected 30 days of delivery since the values are only held for 30 days. Might be wishful thinking. I've already waited a long time, hopefully it doesn't take much longer. The excitement's killing me! I think I check the application at least five times a day. Probably more.
I did a trade in right away and it still took 74 days for a vin. Had to redo the trade in twice more as they are only good for 30 days.
That is true (18 weeks at 10K RNs per week), but 3 weeks ago they were doing 20,000 per week and had been for some time. Who knows how things will be in the future? They might skip a week, they might go back to 20,000 per week, they might accelerate, they might stop. We just don’t know.
Something else to consider is that the RN’s also apply to the S3XY cars too. RN11274-11299? was like the first week or so after the unveiling so the vast majority of those were Cybertruck reservations with the initial excitement. But once you get up into the 113’s a lot of those reservation numbers were for S3XY’s that have long since been delivered.
We all used to think that, but no, they don’t. They apply to anything that you can reserve, like a Semi or a Roadster, but for cars that you can order there is a different numbering system. Someone cleared that up a long time ago.
