Sweet! I know the vins aren’t necessarily consecutive nor in order but unless they’re skipping huge swaths, that would suggest a run rate of (very roughly) 100-150 trucks a day. The assigned dates and vins on the 12/9 NorCal waiting room go along with that general rate of production

Congrats! What does the “getting your vin” process look like? Some sort of notification? Or did you just refresh your app periodically? Also. any word on delivery date? Just curious the timeframe between vin and delivery. Thanks!

Often (but not alway) Tesla will send out an email saying the vin is available. I happened to be checking my app and I saw it before I realized they had emailed me! The ct vin-to-delivery timeline has seemed more haphazard than the S3XY line but it’s usually around 2-3 weeks…

yaY! Thank you! No joke I keep having dreams I check my email and Tesla said I have a Vin or I go to my app and there's a VIN but.. NO Vin . It's reassuring that 12/10 people are slowly getting Vins!

VIN -> Delivery has large variations from a couple days to as much as 26 days, but the average for the 52 deliveries i have collected is 12.43 days. That average is likely trending upwards

Interestingly enough, I called them and the proposed eta for my CT is 2/25 which would be 11 days from VIN, assuming there is no delays, so 12s is very accurate…

Although that is 77 days from order… worse than average, but I was part of the first batch of invite emails, and did not order for a couple of days, which is probably why…
