60 days+ and still waiting for a VIN

Tomorrow will be 60 days since configuring my CT. I was invited on 12/8, configured on 12/22. I know some have been waiting longer than I have but the timeline I feel is slipping longer and longer. I feel Tesla is providing a 90-day delivery window since invites are given a 3-month timeframe. I am becoming impatient, as time goes on, may not have been so bad if I hadn't sold my Model 3 so quickly.

i got VIN 2 weeks ago and vehicle still hasn't arrived at delivery center in Norcal

i mean... you'd probably already have had it delivered if you configured on 12/8. By waiting, many jumped ahead of you.

Configuring on the 22nd probably the worst day to do so. Between Christmas and New years, i doubt much of anything was going on between Dec 22 - Jan 2nd.

For mental health reasons, I'd probably start the counting of days from Jan 2nd.

On the bright side, when the truck finally comes it’ll be a monster upgrade from the old beater I’m stuck driving right now. I had to explain to my kids what a cassette player is.

I was in a similar position just last week. Day 55 wondering if I’d break the record for the longest time between order and VIN then got the email on day 56. You’re far closer to getting it than not but I completely understand your impatience and selling your vehicle too soon. I only recently sold mine but driving my 18 year old truck instead of my M3 sucks lol. Hopefully you get it soon so the waiting can start all over lol. ?

yeah they said the vehicle is still in socal waiting to be transported up north, original delivery date to delivery center was 2 days ago(2/17)

I received the 12/8 invite but didn’t configure for nearly a month. Oh well! Will be waiting another month or so I bet. That’s fine, soon enough it’ll be there.

So you actually get an email? Ive read that most are just checking the app several times a day since ordering. Im RN 11275. I got my invite on 01/31 and ordered that day. Still waiting on a VIN. In SoCal
