Changing your delivery location

It seems that some of the smaller SCs are currently not getting trained for the CT. Does anyone know a number that i could call so i can change my delivery location? I’m more than happy to take delivery 2.5 hours away in Charlotte since it seems that Raleigh’s weak ass SC is not getting the CT anytime soon… FML

I took delivery of my first Tesla 6 hours away, which was the closest sales location at the time. Now there's one 2.5 hours away, so I'm hopeful I can change. All documents say "we will let you know if you can have home delivery" and a location isn't noted, so I hope I have flexibility once the VIN is assigned.

I don’t think we’ll get VINs assigned unless a nearby SC is trained and ready… that’s my concern

Tesla will change your delivery location if it needs to be changed. Nothing to worry about.

Man i hope you’re right. That said, I should have received my VIN by now though.. 68 days since ordering..

I have no idea why you think that you should have received your VIN by now. 10 weeks puts you near Christmas and they really haven't made it that far in CA and TX yet.

I'm a Jan-Mar, which means I expect it at the end of March, I hope for it in February, but it will probably be June.

Because 3 trucks in Charlotte were delivered Almost a week ago. And I know that one of the individuals placed their order on 12/15 like i did.

I'm in CA and the first one was setup at Colma about 1.5 hours away but they have a Tesla dealer in Vallejo and someone said they got theirs there and it's like 20 minutes way. I called a week ago and was told they did not know how to switch it and that it could delay the order and they would have someone from the Cybertruck team call. Never got a call but have a new VIN and the app still shows Colma.

When I bought my model 3 last year, I just texted Tesla and asked them to move the delivery location from Atlanta to Nashville. They responded and did it.

I don't recall how I initiated the first text. I do know that if you have ever received a text from them, you can go back and begin this conversation in the same thread and it will work.
