Finally got my VIN today.

Ordered Dual Motor AWD 11/22/19 - RN112786752 with $100
Received configuration order and Configured Foundation Series 12/26/23 with additional $1000
VIN Received 2/25/2024

bitter sweet because i need to return either 2020 MX or 2023 MY and they both lost tremendous value.

Any ideas? Maybe keep and turo of them?

Congrats on the vin, sorry to hear about the X and Y.
Are you basing the lower valuation on Tesla's trade-in offer or just the market in general. As it will be at least 6mo before I am confident in taking delivery of a CT I am looking at Model Y and the ones on the used market don't seem that inexpensive compared to a new one (with the tax incentive)

Wow congrats. For sure do not trade in. Do private sale if possible if it’s not mandated by the loan approval.

Yes, please don’t trade in. I went to Tesla today to get my trade in value. Even the Tesla guy was shocked at the value offered to my Porsche. I’m going to CarMax next week to try my luck. Worst case I’ll sell to private party. It’ll take time, but I have all the time for the Cyberbeast!

Looks like there is a CarMax near your location too. You might want to give it a try.

Thanks Cyber Man. Yes it is so crazy the value is low on all vehicles recently. Actually Tesla Trade-in online uses CarMax behind the scenes. So i bet carmax will be the same. I might have to get CyberTruck first than sell privately.

I've had great luck with KBB. You get a couple of dealers that reach out with numbers, along with KBB themselves, and then you can choose the highest amongst them (and haggle with them higher sometimes).

Congrats on your Cybertruck VIN! I'm picking up in Tampa this week (finger's crossed). Took over 2 weeks from VIN to delivery (assuming nothing gets delayed...again, finger's crossed, knocking on wood, etc.).

Ugh! I didn’t know Tesla used CarMax uses behind the scenes. Thanks for letting me know. I guess I’ll have to find a potential buyer elsewhere like you will.

YMMV, I did a KBB value request and dealers offered me 26.5k for my 21 model Y long range with FSD and acceleration boost. Tesla offered 33k. Of course, I'm still waiting for the new value since the first one expired.
