I am an employee and contributed to the design of the vehicle. I am not a VIP. Beasts are indeed being delivered.
Thank you for what you did. I can't get over the experience and the extremely well packaged product that you have all put together.

Wow! Simply Wow... Congrats and thanks for all of your work at Tesla. I have a much lower reservation number but didn't get my order confirmed until 01/09 with expected delivery Mar - Dec 2024.

Please continue to post your experiences with your CyberBeast so I can live vicariously through you until mine arrives.

Do we know if the brakes same in both models? the beast need tremendous stopping power
The brakes will be identical between the Beast and the Dual Motor. While the Beast weighs a little more than 200 additional lbs, and another ~15 mph extra on the top end, it would not be cost effective for Tesla to cheap out on the brakes of the Dual Motor, just because they could. The real thing that defines needed braking power is the high GVWR, and both vehicles share the need to bring heavy loads to a stop.

Having different brakes requires more part numbers, more inventory, more manufacturing contracts, etc. Tesla tries every step of the way to be as capital efficient as possible in order to be able to offer consumers the most value for their money. Keeping part counts low is one effective way to help achieve that.

The difference of production vs. pre-production has nothing to do with who they sell it to, it has to do with volumes and whether they are intended for sale to the public. Employees are considered part for the public, and they must buy it in the same manner as the rest of us. The fact that they may get delivery preference has nothing to do with production vs. pre-production.

Nope, I wish! that was a delivery prop use by the delivery center.

Only things missing are off-road light-bar, gateway/installation (have to coordinate separately)

They could not give me an estimate on light bar. The vehicle was delivered with 30 miles, I just spent 36 hooning it.

If I have anything cool enough to post, sure!

I was reached out to via email.
When possible, please share some photos of the beast interior during the daytime. Believe the dash material is different than the AWD models you see a lot getting posted, right? Would be great to see some of these nuances between the beast and AWD.

Hey all - after years of chipping away at it, more than a few restarts & all-nighters, the time has come! Making this thread to commemorate taking delivery of a Foundation Cyberbeast, and the journey going forward. Have been smiling ear to ear tonight, and want to share as much of that as I can with you as you await your own truck. I'll keep this thread posted with some pictures of an upcoming wrap & a few planned roadtrips over the coming months, and aim to update once lightbar and tent are delivered. Happy to answer any questions & help anyone debating between AWD and Tri.

For what it's worth, here is a timeline of the order process:
11/21/19 - Reservation placed (RN11290XXXX)
12/15/23 - Order placed
02/12/24 - VIN Assigned (000077)
02/22/24 - Delivery Scheduled (Marina Del Rey, CA)
02/26/24 - Vehicle Received

The delivery experience for CT at Marina Del Rey in LA was awesome - indoor and guided through the UI & vehicle setup (shout out to James LaGro and Robert Peters) - and the product & build quality feels pretty incredible so far. The name tag and personalized experience was really cool. I hope other delivery centers can keep it up! Here's a video and some images from the experience.

/me whips out the resume and contacts Tesla HR
Yea just need to get hired at one of the most applied to companies on earth AND have a 4 year old reservation # and you can skip the line. Easier to buy it with 30,000 Tesla points or at the upcoming auction :)

Employees pay full price for every Tesla they buy. Even Elon Musk has to pay for the Tesla's he takes delivery of. They are members of the public when they take delivery of a personal vehicle. Test vehicles have manufacturer plates on them and are not production vehicles.
