My DFW Texas Cybertruck delivery... now road trip back to Georgia

Correct, I picked it up in Plano/DFW area. I’m military and Texas is my home of record. I figured it would be awhile for them to get to GA, so I was cool with making the drive.

Same here. I'm military stationed overseas but plan on taking delivery in april hopefully judging by the current delivery pace. I also plan on pickup in the San Antonio area. What address did you use in the Tesla app? Was it a friend/family/old address? How did that work for you? Of course I'm not asking for the actual address, just trying to figure out how I am going to do this too. Thanks and congratulations!

If you are 50,000 in line you should have already gotten an invitation to pay $20k more for a Foundation Series, if you are waiting for a regular version it could be a few years by the time they go through the 2.5 million reservations if they offer the FS to everyone.

Yeah. I was offered the FS right when they started offering it. I'm going to have a hard enough time talking my wife into a $72500 CT (with tax rebate). If I knew for sure it was going to be 2 years I would just get the Lightning for now . I can get an extended battery Lariat for $59,000 and best of all...a road trip with skiing in Colorado on the way home.

I can tell it’s probably not good driving 70-75 mph. SC had been surprisingly quick. Longest has been 35mins. And I’ve accidentally hit 80ish a couple of times.
Yesterday when I was only driving in DFW, the avg was low 300s. Never went above 65mph then.

Picked my truck yesterday and making a cross country trip at the moment. Almost to Nashville and back home to coastal Georgia tomorrow. The truck is unreal. Don’t listen to the haters!

I wasn't even offered the option to pick up at the factory. I would prefer to do that than wait the ~2 weeks for them to ship it across the country via rail. How did you arrange the pick up?

It goes off the address you’ll put on your registration. I keep my cars registered in Tx
