While the placement is is questionable for effects on performance (air intake) and aero (efficiency) I’m not going to fault anyone for trying to design something. This one might not catch the masses eyes, but hell I hope they keep designing new products cause eventually they will nail it and we (CT fans) will benefit from it in the end.

I prefer the look of these… But I like the idea :)

I had a friend run ^ through a wind tunnel. It really didn't disrupt the airflow as much as mentioned above in some photos. Some don't know that because it covers % are doesn't mean it blocks that much airflow. The design is similar to a backwards roof box. Didn't push air out of the way, just slipped over, and concentrated air in the area behind.

I have also put over 80k in miles on my S with a smaller version of the Lazer Lamps. People said the same thing on TMC. You are going to overheat your car. Looking at specs from time to time on temp never had any issues. Even in AZ, FL in middle of summer.

I think it is an aesthetics thing. Either one likes or doesn't. I don't care for overhead lights based on previous experiences.

Whatever one does. The cheap versions of these in hard placement will take a beating, and really shows that you get what you pay for.

I’d prefer the location and aesthetics of this rather than above the windshield.

I wonder if aftermarket will make an attempt on the light bar through the windshield, I liked that concept, if it’s possible.

Not a huge fan of the after market light bar but the standard lights to music is pretty cool.

There is a switched 48v power feed hidden under the frunk tub, my guess is from there.
