PPF Selection Criteria: What brand of PPF is best? Matte or Satin?

As noted in another thread, I'm planning to get our CT wrapped. No Tesla option in Seattle area, so it leaves me with two questions:

1. What brand of PPF is best? STEK, Xpel, 3M, etc.
2. Choosing black...matte or satin? Can't decide...has anyone seen a good side by side comparison? The Tsportline video with model 3s was filmed inside a parking garage so was hard to notice difference.

I’ve used them all on exotics and my X and S plaid. I personally like the Xpel ultimate gloss black. It’s the deepest / wet black looking film ive ever seen. I wrapped my Ferrari F8 with it and came out incredible. Look at the product online. The 3M stuff to me looks a little less like paint and can tell it’s a wrap. Never do vinyl wrap! Satin and matte wraps is personal preference. I do like the satin clear ppf over the CT stainless steel!

Stek PPF has a smoother, glasslike finish compared to Xpel.

I compared Pure and Xpel, both are pretty good, but chose PurePPF because they got a color choice I liked. its Satin Bullet(silver, grey with a littel bit of blue)

I have not seen a color ppf with a satin black. Only matte and gloss. What manufacturer has a satin black ppf?
plenty in vinyl.

I choose Pure PPF for the same reason. I’ll be getting Galaxy Black. Went back and forth with STEK and 3M colors but couldn’t decide on one that I felt was right until I came across the Pure choice. Picking my truck up this afternoon and getting it wrapped and tinted hopefully during spring break.

Funny...I'm getting PurePPF Satin Bullet installed right now! It looks a lot lighter on your Cybertruck than it does on the roll.

it looks lighter under bright sun, but most time looks darker, gray ish

Where can I find a list of the color options for all these manufacturers? I’m looking for a specific color and I want to know if I can do PPF. I know it comes in vinyl, but I prefer PPF.

I just googled the brand and colors and you should be able to find them. Another option is to talk with the shop you’re planning on working with. They usually will have samples of each manufacturer’s products they install.
