Do you have a video of the non-rolled version? I'd almost do the rolled, but what that video shows is what im used to.
The non-rolled edge would just end at the edge of the door. I can make a video Monday, we start another install. Vinyl is always rolled. The edge-to-edge is a PPF thing and makes sense on the Cybertuck because it has laser cut / squared edges. But rolling over the edge is doable, vinyl and PPF. Our kit includes the proper supplies to do it right.

For clear PPF that makes sense, but for a color PPF I can’t imagine not rolling. If you can point me to a PPF install video that would awesome. I watched the vinyl one but feel the thickness adds a different process. Thanks

Check it out here, our Satin Black TMaxx DIY PPF Kit, with "rolled edges" being installed today....

I noticed 3D “Foundation series” decal in this video. (I assume you put it under the ppf) Is it coming as part of your DIY kit or being sold separately?

We are an accredited PURE PPF installer, so we're good there if we install it.

TMaxx, film is free from defects for 10 years. https://tsportline.com/products/tmaxx-self-healing-paint-protection-film-ppf

We dont have 'film defects' with any of the brands we carry. Frankly, when installed properly (ie clean), film lasts well.

I’ve been looking towards wrapping my CT matte/satin black and had my wrap shop get these two samples. Shocking to see them next to each other. Both have about the same sheen. But the stek is very black vs the pure ppf which seems to maybe reflect more light? I know these have been two of the more common brands used around here. I’m not sure how I will want to go. What say you folks?

We wrapped our first Blue Model Y in gloss Expel PPF. We ordered a 2nd Model Y when Tesla offered to let you transfer FSD (Even though they texted us telling us that FSD transfer was complete, it wasn't and we STILL don't have FSD but, I digress).

We went to our PPF installer with her old car to get something checked out. While there, my wife asked about a satin color. The guy went and cut a piece of the Satin and then put it on her car so it would go over a crease in the fender so we could see it in different light and angles. He said to keep it on there a few days to make up our mind and let him know. So, Satin it is.

Anyway, I recommend to place a couple of swatches on your truck across a bend and check it out for a day or two in different lights. It'll become obvious to you what you prefer.

It removes easy enough.
