I was at the service center in Delray, Florida yesterday. Someone was trying to do this, they made a few calls and ultimately the customer was told they are not accepting CT trade ins period, even for another Tesla.

While I agree, yet you don't know the guy next door. I always say it is relative to one's wants, and ability to provide for such wants.

I think the real thing is that the pack and motor warranty is gone shortly for those that just want to have fun at superchargers forever and ever. Roadtrip forever. This was the case on the unlimited battery and motor.

I drive between 50-70k a year on a Tesla. I try to make it the most of the ones that carry that long warranty. Would think twice on the 4650 cells. I really like the Panasonic 18650 cells the best.

I also took a Quick Look at switching to a CB. Only remotely makes sense if they let me transfer the FSD.

I wanted to have the number to be sure it totally didn't make sense (or cents).
Had there been the option of Powershare vs Supercharging at the get go, it would have been worth it. But not in a post purchase world.
(Plus the small fear of the truck getting totalled and having neither Supercharging nor Powershare).

Same this works great for us as well with a backup 30amp gas generator.

I have a generator connection for the house already.
What I don't have is a wall connector (at all, let alone one in the detached garage). So beast with $4k of installation credit and earlier delivery along with the rest of the accessories made Foundation worth it.

wow that sounds a great option. I did not realize you could do that. Do you use a battery like from Jackal or Anker? Do you mind sharing the set up?

I totally agree here. I would never do this kind of dumb shit....I would've just bought another CT with the free supercharge. Then you'd have the free supercharge without losing selling short on the old one!
