Thank you for that statistic. WoW!! Half of us are destined to be disappointed March came and went and we were left CyberLess.
if you are talking who is gonna not get their estimated dates like @agordon117 said up till around 1/17 they were saying Jan-Mar, so if i run that query thats 498 orders still waiting for a vin out of 838 total orders or close to 60% who will be dissapointed.

NC here.....$1000 down on 1/24...no VIN and ghosting from Tesla so far....Delivery is supposed to be by end of April....but it looks to be longer according to the post from other users.....Ive waited almost 5 years....might as well be more. Hopefully rates will go down by the time I have to finance the rest
Well, that is my attitude. Haha, living where I live, people have laughed at me for years because of my enthusiasm for Elon and the upcoming CyberTruck. Pickups are very, very, emotional things for people living in Alabama. So is coal and one of my neighbors works in the coal mines. Haha, I'm dispised now that those same people see that Tesla really has produced an All-Electric pickup that looks so modern. It's really a fantastic, rolling, sociology experiment.

should I do the math again based on avg vins per day over the last 2-3 weeks? I don't think anyone will want to know the answer

I am not aware of any. There was one seen driving in Bethesda, MD, but it had California temp tags.

My promised delivery dates were January, March, so Tesla has 12 more days to do so.
Technically they didnt promise any of us anything, unless you used the referral credits then they promised you within 45 days.

Order 12/21/23. CyberBeast. Not a peep yet. Fine with me. Want them to work out the kinks first.
Personally, I don't mind the kinks, I'm repaired to tame the beast;)

I know there has to be an internal reason for this? Tesla pushing states with easier delivery for higher 1st quarter numbers? California, Texas, Florida? I mean, we got "train tracks" and nice interstates leading to Alabama. The TesBro guy changed delivery location to Florida to avoid waiting in Tennessee. It worked out for him. I just wish I understood Tesla's logic in issuing VIN numbers and delivery to customers in other states besides the Big Three.

Thanks for clarifying that. I assumed no one got that 1st quarter window for delivery unless they ordered in December.
I ordered mine on 12/28/23 no vin yet
Where are you expecting delivery? What state?
No idea on Delivery Since I still have no Vin I am in NJ. I did talk to one of our service center employees and he said they just received vin numbers. But we are just the peons. I have been owned Tesla's since 2015 and have a 2016S and a 2022 X plaid. This has been a long wait it's getting harder, but Tesla already has my money.

I want to know the answer? I really appreciate all the rest of the members chiming in with their experience. It helps knowing that you are sharing a different kind of experience with others. I guess I really expected to be driving my CyberTruck per the January-March delivery window Tesla promised. Now, I know it's not just an "Alabama" thing.
