VIN Received today/Delivery 3/25

Not only did I get my VIN today but I also received delivery date for this Monday (3/25). I’ll update on how that goes.

Not until it’s in my hands. 5pm Monday. Wish I wasn’t in this golf tournament I’d be here first thing Monday morning. Just leaving the SC to switch financing back to my CU. So easy

Truck arrived 2/2 but was waiting on trim pieces and hardware updates before release. After you get a VIN they are able to track full history. Vehicle has 11 miles on it. Pictures to follow gents.

That may be true for your particular SC or someone specifically within that SC but generally is false. It’s been his and miss from owners experience even on this forum. Putting that out there will give folks the expectation that the moment they get a VIN, all the known information on their truck will be shared and that’s not realistic in most cases.

Ok, maybe it’s case by case but o say at the delivery center not sales and they looked everything up on the truck with me right at the counter. Take it how you want I don’t really care. How about that. Can’t control a lazy employee vs. great service at Irvine.

Putting my experience out there has nothing to do with yours or anyone else’s. Just my experience. Take it or I can just not post anything.

Ok then give credit to a particular person at Irvine that gave you great service. Shout them out so others can seek them out for information. There are folks on here who may believe that your experience is common and it’s not. I’m glad you had a great experience and they shared that information. All SC should do just that but they don’t. I’m not implying that you can somehow control what others do, but to say that THEY can or will tell you the history of your truck when you get a VIN is just setting up people for disappointment. @Noblelr3 Congrats. I live in Coto as well. You should see another one with tempo tags soon. I just got issued a VIN a few days ago. There are two always at the Country Club when I run by.

Nice are you picking up in Irvine? I would think so. I’m a golf member at the club you’ll see a third one lol. Blacking out the windows Thursday but going to hold on wrapping for a month or so.

@Noblelr3 While I don’t have a delivery date, they did inform me the pickup location was Irvine. Initially (several months ago) I was told it could possibly be delivered from the Lake Forest service center, but I don’t know that I’ve ever seen vehicles get delivered there during my service visits. At any rate, I’m pretty excited. The CB will go straight from Tesla Irvine to get wrapped and tinted. I was actually thinking about letting the business do a ProtectaClear treatment first, let it cure 4-5 days and then do the wrap. I just don’t know if I can wait that long. That would be almost 10 days in the shop ?

I have not looked into the Protecta Clear but for sure do not wrap with vinyl go with PPF. They have lots of cool colors these days. Vinyl will cost more in the long run because you will have to keep repairing sections that tear from rocks or folks that barely hit your door etc. CB nice!! Looking forward to seeing yours. Btw, by all means pick up from Irvine. They are pros in the game. They were one of not the first delivery center in California for the CT and at one point they were one of only 3 in Cali. They know what they are doing, I’ve seen several delivery CT’s and they get the truck so clean I think I wasted money on the BKF and Windex.
