I don't agree with a lot of what is said here. But I think it's safe to say that all these tricks to get the wealthier customers to the front of the line and people who placed FS orders last year being skipped over for people who just placed is starting to wear on everyone.

What are your thoughts?

have to filter most YouTube headlines and videos for actual useful content…
So are you saying that you don't think the way Tesla is handling the roll out is wonky?

YouTubers trying to get a reaction… meh, could care less if 20 celebrities get Cybertruck before me.. I am also 2026 at the earliest, so my annoyance is limited vs those first day orders..

When did you place your original reservation? I'm sure the earlier you got in the line, the more all these things impact you.

I personally die a little inside Everytime someone who placed their res after me gets their truck before me.

But a business gonna business

“Those wealthy aholes jumped the line at Disney with their pass. Shake my fist in the air!” Are there any adults left ? Or even someone who isn’t self centered and think everyone should cater to them ? Time to grow up. We don’t live in that world. Yes money gets you ahead most places in life. And businesses that are (currently) losing money on each CT sold will try to sell fully loaded packages to manage their bleed. It’s not a conspiracy. Sorry your flower feelings got hurt.

Ps: these same people eventually get the car and then bitch it’s incomplete. Jeez. No one is twisting your arm. If you want a cheap / complete car wait or go some where else. Toyota probably. It’s all good. Just grow up please.

I am saying that I watched about every YouTube video on the CT and the useful content is really low when the camera is NOT on the CT…

except for greggertruck!

I ddn't watch the vid because i'm not a fan of whiney ranty youtube people, but..

I don't mind the Foundation series program. I don't mind the small hanful of these no name "celebrities" getting trucks quickly.

I DO however mind ordering a FS for "early access", and getting pushed back by accelerated delivery people, particularly because this program was wedged in after the fact.
I DO also mind Tesla prioritizing CA and TX folks this far into production. In the beginning, fine, but now, just go by order date Tesla, customers are waiting.

The big difference is, Disney doesn't advertise one price, then years later, raise it by 30k and then months later raise it by 20k.

Fully loaded is a bit of a reach i would say lol the big change from the base model is the white trim and the tires. Lots of people dont even get all the accessories (like powershare) but all good because they got some free supercharging they wont use or a wall charger credit.

It's a classic bait and switch. There's no questioning that. Classic Elon though lol
(this is just a clip from elon not the actual show)

People keep going to bat for Tesla and their sales tactics, but that's why they keep doing it. Rivian didn't get away with it because they don't have a cult following yet. People hold the power, but too many blindly follow and pop off when someone sheds light on issues.

Want to take any bets on how many of those same people who are skipping the line complain when the price drops?

All that said though. TFL is off base with a lot of the comments in the video. Like people are getting non-FS trucks

Those last two are not any different than the FS project itself though. It was wedged in randomly. No one knew that was coming. It was used for people who reserved after to skip people who reserved first.

I get what you're saying though. The accelerated delivery program is extra annoying to me because, those are also out of reach for most.

Texas here, stock holders, owned multiple Teslas, solar, Powerwalls, pre-ordered 11/22/2019, configured my Cyberbeast on 1/2/2024, still no VINs! Also waiting for a VIN for my Model 3 Dual Motor refresh... I'm not feeling any prioritizing love at all?

Yeah, i would have much preferred no FS program for sure.

Strangely(or maybe not), i would have probably been less cranky not paying a premium and waiting an extra 9-12 months, rather than paying a premium and now sitting here 93 days and no VIN. Hindsight i guess.

Dang, I feel you there. It's like they screw the most loyal customers because they know we're not going anywhere
