Park a couple of inflatable fake, or real (?) Doberman Pinchers in the bed... that'll cure it!

Can you speak through the pedestrian speaker via the app like with other Tesla vehicles? Hearing an empty truck telling the crowd to maintain their distance would make for good sentry cam videos of the reponses.

I live in Cheyenne and am waiting for my beast. Given that I live in the land of jacked-up, smokestack brodozers I'm worried about the truck getting keyed or how to handle negative attention. Has anyone had to deal with the folks who truly dislike Elon/Tesla, any advice for me?
For damage to the vehicle, you always have Sentry Mode watching out if enabled.

But for the people, ignore the few haters, they will be significantly outnumbered by the others.

Do you know what total Zero production has been over those 10 years?

I also wonder what the average daily usage ratio is compared to a Cybertruck, ie. the number of days it sits in a garage vs. the number of days it is publicly visible).
Pretty sure Tesla will exceed Zero production over the next year with their Cybertruck. Not alot of motorcycles in North America, as things go.

I was just implying the long tail of question-asking ^-^

...or they take a quick photo and move on so they can figure it out later.
...and all the people who know they can ask their phone what's in a picture probably already know what a Cybertruck is.

I had to see what the number were, the closest I got was

As of September 2022, more than 20,000 Zero motorcycles have been sold, covering 165,000,000 miles, both on and off road.

And if you watched traffic go past my neighborhood you'd see a half dozen go by in a day - none of them test rides.

But yeah, they only make a couple thousand a year.

Oh, I'm not downplaying them in any way. I want one. That's actually a pretty good number for motorcycles.

Happy to hear you have your CT and are getting positive responses. Just know, yall are pioneers in this space. Many people would kill to be in your position. Stay humble, stack your bags, and don’t forget to rock what you got, your favorite songs and smile for the camera!

The Cyberbeast will be my first Tesla and I'm very much looking forward to leaning about Sentry. Seems like a feature every car should have.

Sentry mode was created by Tesla a few years ago after a rash of California cars were getting vandalized. It's in addition to the normal car alarm.

It uses more power, because the car can't go to sleep. It uses a lot of recording space as well.

Sure, you may want to have it turned on to begin with.

I've never turned it on, except for testing, with either of my Teslas in 6 years. I'm in Atlanta suburbs, I've never had the need to. In 40 years of being in Atlanta, I had only one instance where someone took something from my vehicle, and I think that I left the door unlocked.

In other words, if you have a need for Sentry, use it, otherwise it is a waste of power, leave it off.

Thanks for the information. I'd love to not need it, then again... Cheyenne...

Yeah, stop worrying about things that probably won't happen (or switch to a lower deductible on your insurance if you can't stop worrying too much).

The only reason I worry a little is because my husband and I were out at happy hour a few weeks ago chatting about where to move stuff in the garage to accommodate the truck and got read the riot act from someone who overheard us talking. Only our closest friends know we have it on order and everyone can't wait to see it. It's the occasional crazy person I wonder about.

Oh and the deductible is definitely going to be set at $500 :)

I hope you or your husband told them they don't a clue about what they were talking about and that they should mind their own business!

Life is too short to be afraid of mentally ill people.

I have had mine for 2 weeks now. It's pretty overwhelming but I was prepared for the attention. I'm not into it but I know it will fade.

I drove one of our work vans for a couple hours drive this week and was shocked when I looked at other cars and they were not looking back at me LMAO. Don't get me wrong I didn't miss the attention but it was weird to feel that.
Haha I have a boring work van too. The same thing happens I expect to be getting stares when driving. I have to think about it for a second. Feels good to take a break for me.
