This is pretty accurate. Still getting attention, but less by the day (which I’m happy about). Had dinner at the Pendry earlier this week and when I arrived I was the only CT, but after dinner there were two wrapped matte black parked next to me (front row valet with all the super cars next to them).

The best is the reaction of young kids…their eyes light up and they are in awe. Reminds me of the joy of young kids seeing Santa.
My son is going to get a real kick out of being dropped off at elementary school in it

Wifey put it perfectly the first time she saw it in person and then rode in the truck with me.

If your wife calls you “DumpsterFire”, I think you’re getting catfished

They are a dime a dozen here in SoCal now, just an everyday commuter.

I dislike the videos and photos as some of these people take them to post them online to make memes or send them to friends/family as a joke. I guess as long as I am not in the pic lol

I think a couple of things are happening. People on the world wide web mostly have never seen one in person or driven one. I truly believe the Cybertruck is the Grand Canyon of vehicles. The Grand Canyon is hard to take a photo and convey the depth and vast nature of that place. The Cybertruck is the same way. People always say, "Photos or Videos don't do it justices. So the people online are being their true self and trolling.

The interesting thing is, I get 90%+ positive feedback in person. So either the people I see in person are not honest people and are just being nice & are the people that talk behind your back or hide behind a keyboard or it is truly amazing vehicle that has to be experienced.

My favorite reactions are kids and people that have never heard or seen one before. I like the kids, because there feedback & reactions are PURE. Not tainted or political. If you want a honest reaction, as a kid. Also the people that have never heard of it before. They are normally the ones that are most amazed. They haven't seen anything like it.

The Cybertruck will be remembered as an iconic car. Its influence will be felt for a generation.
Apparently there is a school somewhere in San Diego where the kids at school laugh at the one kid who owns a Cybertruck. It's unfortunate because it's such a cool truck. I see one at least once a week here now.

is it bullet proof?.....most asked question.......The touching is crazy.....why? Lambo's don't even get touched........I've used 2 bottles of Windex in 2 months so far to get peoples muck off my truck.......I wish I had a keyfob just to quickly hit the alarm button to keep people off it.

I picked up my baby sister once and my parents got a call requesting we use one of our other cars because of the traffic and chaos it created. 😂

I can drive it for you if you want…. lol

waiting for VIN in the desert…

but that is a concern if I am honest…
To be honest, I have both sympathy and lack thereof. Many early adopters and FS Cybertruck owners wanted to be some of the first to get a Cybertruck FOR attention, so part of me says be careful what you wish for.

Probably going to be one or two years before all the attention decreases a little, with both increased numbers of Cybertrucks on the road to make them less unusual, and also more owners to take questions.

I think this is going to come with the territory of Cybertruck ownership for at least the next few months or more, so why not just relax, take a deep breath, and enjoy being one of the few?

But you don't always have to stop, just politely move on if you are in a hurry. Some people are inconsiderate as if you always have to stop what you're doing for them. Just don't do it. They'll get the message. Just yell out "Check X or the Tesla website!", or something like that and keep walking or shut the door.

I’m fine with it I love talking about the truck and helping dispel even just simple Tesla myths. I’ve only gotten 2 middle fingers in 5 weeks. I’m pretty sure those people are musk haters.
