Dang, you should have called Alset Auto. We did a Stealth Black last week. 10 year film warranty and lifetime installation warranty. But it's $7k.**Only available in the United States. Excludes defects in workmanship (installation), which has a warranty of 12 months or 12,500 miles (20,000 km), whichever comes first.
- Clear Protection Film**: 10 years
- Color Paint Film**: 5 years
All in all, pretty good warranty too. I shopped around. Other places were similar or cheaper in price, but only offered 2-3 year warranties.
Incorrect. The PPF Tesla uses is in fact by 3M. Go to the service center and ask to see the box that the PPF comes in: it is 3M.The new wraps from Tesla are designed by Tesla and not 3M.
@Rob4Aub Satin Stealth Black looks awesome, thanks for sharing the photos.Just got my Cybertruck back from Tesla Oceanside Collision Center and they did an amazing job!! They also have the Foundation Series template so they can add that badging back to the CT after wrapping it.

I’m certainly no expert, but from what my I stalker is telling me, and from what I’ve read, it appears 3M only makes true PPF (self-healing) in clear applications. And the color options they have are vinyl. Are you saying that when Tesla uses 3m, they use 3m vinyl and then cover with 3M Clear PPF?Incorrect. The PPF Tesla uses is in fact by 3M. Go to the service center and ask to see the box that the PPF comes in: it is 3M.
Rob4Aub, would you mind posting a pic of your CT unwashed? I've had black cars before, looks dirty quick. Hoping the satin black finish is less maintenance.
Cool thanks. will check out that waterless wash. Also have you done any machine (touchless) washes with the wrap?
