Nationwide delivery HOLD on all CyberTruck. Accelerator issue possible

I got assigned vin 61xx about a week ago and no delivery date yet. Was hoping for the 20th as I’m flying back to the US from overseas to pick it up ?

10 days. They are pulling that number out of their behinds. They have to go to the supplier, modify and proof the new Pedal Monitor, then produce 7,000+ replacements.

The Cybertrucks sitting at delivery centers have the lowest priority. They will keep pumping out trucks at the factory and shipping them out. One month minimum IMO, unless they knew about this for a while and have the parts in stock. Very much doubt that, since this is affecting the latest VINs

This is assuming we need 7000, if they track down the batch affected and narrow down which vins are affected, it may only be a few hundred but we won’t know until after the 20th when they offer a replacement. If it’s as simple as a bad batch, they could pull from other batches to fill the gap as opposed to needing a full redesign. ??‍

In the drone flights from today, cybertrucks are still in the outbound lot being shipped out of the factory. There are a lot sitting there but they are still shipping.

I'm not an expert but I would think that this means that it is a relatively minor issue or doesn't affect the current production trucks?

Or I guess it could mean that they would just assume I have the service centers do it rather than hold up production at the factory. Which I guess is the most likely lol

Drone video today still showing CT activity which is good. I'm curious to see Monday drone videos. If we see no outbound CTs, that could be be a tell.

Someone said the stop order in relation to the accelerator pedal was poor lubricant or wrong lubricant used.

Perhaps they mistakenly used Bar Keepers Friend? ?

Got my VIN on 4/9.

#4600 which sounds like an older build, correct? Not sure if that's good or bad...

Was told on 4/11 it just needed to pass final inspection then they would call to schedule delivery... which kind of sounded like Truck is at my delivery center, but not sure.

Tesla refuses to be transparent so our only option is to theorize and potentially spread misinformation. So far I have heard steering controls module, pedal monitor sensor, pedal cover, pedal lubricant. What else?
