Happy to say, the Optimum No Rinse works amazing as a rinse free car wash. There is a quick spray and wipe formula with micro fiber towel that works just as well. Fill the 24 oz. Bottle with 1.5 oz of ONR and the rest with DISTILLED water. Makes for a quick clean wash that’s simple and fast. Works on the windows as well.

Yes but that’s not such a big deal because lots of products do that. It dries clean without smears

It is a good product, I use it almost daily, but it can not remove the water spots that drive me crazy.

Do you mean the no rinse wash caused the water spots or it can’t them them out. The ONR doesn’t cause water spots unless you mix it wrong. And use distilled water for the quick detail spray version. It gets water spots out with a little more elbow grease.

No, it doesn't cause the water spots, it is just not good enough for removing all the water spots caused by hard water, so I use it to clean most of the parts and try to find another solution to remove the water spots.

I do two and a half caps to 4 gals of water when I do the bucket wash! Works great. I have not had hard water spot issues. BKF and Windex will work on that though.

I did 4 caps to 4 gal water. Maybe the water was too hard.

I heard somebody say the Windex glass cleaner has Ammonia which is bad for stainless steel, so I don't use it.

I just got a water spot remover by Chemical Guy, I will try it later.

No, 4 caps is too much. 1oz (cap) per 2 gallons of water is all you need for the bucket no rinse wash. the ONR softens the water so that will not be a problem.
And yes, Windex by itself is no good. There is a way to clean the CT patina to make it look exceptionally good and that is to apply BKF one panel at a time then wipe it off with Windex and a micro fiber towel. You have to go on YouTube and look up the entire process because it’s not as easy as I’m putting here. Will make the truck look amazing. I will do it maybe once a month. Takes about 2-3 hours and about 2 glasses of bourbon.

I have been using 50/50 99% isopropyl alcohol, distilled water, and a cap full of ONR in a 40oz spray bottle and have been happy with the results.

What benefits will the alcohol do? I just use water and ONR.

Seems to flash quickly leaving no residue. With at said I haven’t tried just the ONR and water. Only because I had a bunch alcohol already.

Seems like it makes sense but I’m concerned about long term use of alcohol. Would be great if you tried distilled water in 25 oz spray bottle with 1.5 caps (oz.) ONR.
