I realize it’s speculation right now but, do you have any concerns about the accelerator? Do you have any reservations about driving it with the news of the delivery delays?

I’m on the fence about driving it until something is released about what is going and if there is an issue.
Zero concerns.

This is odd. I don’t have my CT yet. Probably won’t get it till next year. However, for this accelerator issue something is off. At first, I thought it was cover that slid onto to the pedal from the top, but it was just glued on. Watching the video that started it all, first of all the pedal doesn’t show any residue of any glue. Second, if it was just glued on and it gave up how it slide up and still hold onto to the pedal? Even the guy on the video had a hard time holding to the cover and keeping the pedal depressed. Logically speaking the cover would’ve just slid to the side or something and pedal would be free to come back up. Now, it would’ve been shocking to anyone if this happened to them but like even the video mentioned just depress the brake and the car would stop. I just find it odd.

The cover slides over the pedal in a "tongue-and-groove"-style arrangement. Mine won't budge.

Glad to hear. I’ll admit I did grab the accelerator pedal and try to jar it but never a thought after. My ct was in service all day this past Thursday and zero mention.

Just screw it! Like with a simple screw.
