Just saw a teardown video on the cyberbeast 3 motor version. it was revealed that the two rear induction motors are not in use when just driving down the highway which only requires about 20 HP. I'm wondering how much this helps in range? My purpose for wanting the cybertruck over my model Y is comfort in roadtrips because of quiet cabin, smooth ride with its air suspension, hating to go out of my way to get gas, and ability to power the house when the power goes out. Uhhh, how many power walls does the cybertruck equal?

Apparently doesn’t help enough to get any better efficiency than the AWD version. ??‍♂

They do that in the Semi, even added hardware to make sure that it can freewheel and not cause a drag.

Road tripping in the Cybertruck for various reasons over the Model Y is fine, but don't factor economy as one of those. It's probably in the neighborhood of 50% worse.

I've got a long-term 255 Wh/mile in my Model 3, EPA numbers suggest in the upper 300's for the Cybertruck.

charge time may be a bigger hindrance for my bride. (in Texas we say bride if you been married longer than 40 or 50 yrs) But by the time we could actually order and take delivery of a cybertruck all chargers will be 350 KW.
