I used 2 products like OP based on the "Everyday Chris" video (ONR and IronX). I now have the same drip stains as OP. This SS is turning out to be a more sensitive than I expected. Hoping for a solution for this, then I am going to wrap the truck.

Also bird poop seems to have left its mark, I have not been able to remove it yet. I am sure its a lack of knowledge on my part.

I used Citrisurf 77 Plus to get rid of rusty freckle spots all over my hood because Citrisurf recommends that for rust removal. The spots came off great, but the iron oxidation left me with some dark splotches that won’t come off. I contacted Citrisurf and they told me not to use the 77 Plus on the Cybertruck and just use the plain 77. I’ve got the plain 77 coming tomorrow, so I hope that helps to get rid of this discoloration.

I don't think the way Chris tried iron x and rinses wash worked so well...

If you watch the DIY Detail video where they ceramic coat a cybertruck, he used the DIY Iron remover on the clay towel, per panel, then rinsed straight away. I assume that approach works better.

The only way I got it off was using BKF cream, I actually tried this with the rotary tool and micro fiber pad as well as by hand with Microfiber cloth, both worked without leaving any really unusual scratches. I found the BKF foam was not strong enough to get rid of the marks even with the rotary tool. So things are back to normal now. Overall ONR seems to be my best cleaning solution for most things, then BKF for the strong stains. I you use a micro fiver cloth with BKF just make sure you use a circular motion to apply it.

Planning to wrap it also, but waiting for Tesla to change out a panel first.

Iron remover needs to stay wet, if it dries it can stain surface. Spray, scrub, rinse....then use ONR. Good luck!
