Washing away the fingerprints and grime

Hank the Tank was super dirty when we picked him up. I asked about the car wash or how to clean it. SC employee said to avoid car washes with brushes and to use window cleaner.

Got home and tried window cleaner. It did nothing for the fingerprints.

Dawn Powerwash is my go to cleaner for everything. Lightbulb moment as I was cleaning the fingerprints off my ss fridge for the millionth time.

Between Dawn PowerWash and window E-Cloth, he looking real good!

I'm still waiting on a review of Shiela Shine cleaner/polish on the CT. We use it on our SS appliances and it's the best product that I have found for stainless.

ONR has been perfect for me and really cost effective.

2oz in a gallon jug of water then I fill a spray bottle and use a microfiber cloth.

I keep a tiny spray bottle & cloth in the truck with me at all times.

Have you found anything that gets the transportation “rust” spots off?

Not 100% sure on that. I made Tesla remove all the transportation rust spots before I accepted delivery and left on delivery day. They took it back to the detail department and it came back all gone. Took them about 15 -30 mins. If I had to guess.... they probably used Bar Keeper's Friend.

None of the spots have come back and I have had the truck since March 20th.
