Key cards no longer unlock truck

Has anybody else experienced this? I went to use my key card yesterday and it would not unlock my truck, tried the second one with no luck. These are key cards that previously worked. I got in the truck with my phone key, then turned off Bluetooth and put the card in the cupholder and it was recognized and I could operate the vehicle, same with the second key card. I could not figure out why it would operate the truck but not unlock it.
I went to my local service center and the tech said this is the third CyberTruck with this issue in the last two days. Apparently it is a software bug.
I’d be curious if anybody else has encountered this and if you haven’t tried your card in a while, try it and see if you’re affected.
The technician said he will put this in the system and reach out when they have a solution but as of now, they do not have a fix.

I bet most of us use our phones, but if people tried the cards after seeing our posts, I’d bet they have the same issue. This could definitely be a problem if it was a surprise while you’re out in the world.

Ah poop, that would suck if your phone blew up and your emergency card didn’t work while you are away from the house. Will have to test this and I guess add this to my monthly checklist.

Same issue for me and it started after the last update.

I have to leave my phone in the truck at work, so I turn Bluetooth off daily on the phone and always use the key card to lock/unlock the truck since I got it. After the last update I have had issues using the key card. Today I had to message my wife from my office to get her to unlock the truck since the card wouldn’t work and my phone was inside the truck.

Guess I’ll put in a service request now.

Same boat here. Works when inside the car but does not unlock the doors, it got stuck at a valet parking yesterday.

same here. I read the other post about this issue and went outside asap (few days later) and could not find the topic so I am posting here, asap.(few days later...hey, I am lazy)
The card will not unlock the door but it will allow it to drive

Just tested key card on 2024.45.25.5 and it works.

I have that same version and neither of my keycards work to unlock. Tried to delete and repair them both and would not delete or complete pairing as new.

Dang I thought maybe I ruined my card somehow never went and grabbed other card to check yet, but I did try and randomly use my key the other day with no luck. Serve request outgoing now!

Confirmed for me too. Took delivery of truck about a month ago. To be honest, I never tested the key cards since I connected my iPhone before taking deliver and have only used my phone. Yesterday I grabbed a keycard because I am leaving the truck to get wrapped. The card would not unlock the truck, but I could drive with it once I was in the truck. Tested the other card and same deal: no unlock, but once in and in the slot the truck was drivable. Called my wrap guy, and he said he is currently finishing another cybertruck and the same thing was experienced on that truck.

Seems like a pretty big deal to me. For people who don’t use their phones, were they all locked out of their vehicles? Any official news about this anywhere?
