Then it’s time to open the app and schedule service. But, to avoid embarrassment, I would recommend that you double check that you’re not pushing it past the grab point which is very, very, very easy to do. Especially once you get muscle memory about what the weight is.That's what used to work and now doesn't

I am unaware of any cases over the time that the truck has been out and somebody has reported this issue that it hasn’t been miscalculation of how easy it is to close it past the grab point.
Weird, it's the same motor for cinch and release and each side has four position switches. If I'm not imagining it, my tailgate used to mechanically move towards the bed when I pushed it closed until it clicked. It doesn't do that anymore.
I just carefully reread what you wrote here. I can tell you that no it does not do that. And that’s what makes it weird. If I'm not imagining it, my tailgate used to mechanically move towards the bed when I pushed it closed until it clicked. It doesn't do that anymore.
Yep! Happy to help. It’s just weird. ??If I go super slowly it does grab and pull. I swear it wasn't as sensitive before, and pulled the tailgate farther in than it does now but I'm going to ignore that. Thanks for the help.
Your right, I pushed slowly and it catches and electronically sucked in on its own. ThanksMine's not foundation. Try pushing up the tailgate SUPER slowly until it just catches.
