So, I am having wind/vibration coming from driver side door of my CT once it over 70+ mph. Whole door vibrates. I have already made a service appt. Anyone having same issue? Is there an easy fix?

I have it depending on if there seems to be any wind at speeds you mention. I've not decided if I want to pursue a SC visit or not as of yet. It is not terrible, but definitely noticeable, and not so on the passenger's side.

A few times. The window was shut very tightly and I hit the button, not to open the window but to relieve some of the pressure and it became quiet. Very odd result but now I have not had that issue for a while. I only had the vibration one time, which is even weirder. I thought it was the road.

Since mine is essentially only an issue with observable wind, I assume the wind is somehow upsetting/sending air into the panel door gap and causing the vibration. I'm going to refine my testing/observation and if that's the case, probably not pursue for now.

I've noticed the same thing - 70mph+, and some noise/vibration from drivers door - I'm not an engineer, but I assume its turbulence from the side mirror / wiper blade as the entire mirror assembly seems to be oscillating when I notice this. Haven't tried cracking the window - if that "fixes" it then I'm wrong?

Has anyone deleted the side mirror and noticed a noise improvement at speed?

You are right. If there is a wind, then it is noticeable. I also feel some cold air on driver side of door storage area.

This is what I had done to correct the vibration felt with my knee against the door panel.. Didn’t eliminate vibration but definitely reduced it. I’m not sure what the replacement door assembly consisted of maybe it’s got dampening foam or something.

Do you have an early VIN?

A few other members have reported on this noise before. Something about the higher speeds creates a low pressure zone causing the nearly flat door skin to flutter slightly.

Tesla does not install a cross door safety beam in the doors since side impact collision testing shown it wasn‘t required. I believe it’s the only vehicle sold without any. They do adhere 2 anti vibration pads to the inside of the door skins however.

I am surprised this fluttering noise wasn’t caught during pre-production testing and corrected. This issue may have been addressed on late 2024 builds and newer by implementing a production change.

Just took a short trip up 95 to CT in my CT (heh) and it was super windy and the door was vibrating again at certain times. My door is also not closing completely. I would say 1-2 MM sticking out but....within specs. BS.

I have the same issue on top of the wind noise I can feel the cold air coming in. For $100,000 We should expect better. But we should know by now Tesla doesn't care because we just keep coming back.

Took my truck in 4 times to get this resolved in NJ.
first visit they said issue didn’t exist.
second visit they changed the inner panel
Third visit they changed the outer steel panel
Fourth visit they changed the complete door and replaced it with a new one with tightening the seals around the door.
doesn’t vibrate too much anymore but before it was wayyy too much.

I have found the same. Anything over 50 if I just tap the rear windows down (not open, just slightly down) the noise becomes much less. Tesla service confirmed, but nothing done as a fix so far. I hate to just randomly replace things if they don't have a new rev number that would have a different outcome. (still waiting to hear about a recall on wiper issues)

Just be happy they acknowledged and didn’t charge you $200 in labor unlike for me.

Same here. My Tesla tech said it's normal and nothing he can do. I have to do this on windy days or freezing days.
