AlDente, you might need to seek professional help!Sorry, HT is the abbreviation for Home Theater for those of us really into it and is a hobby (obsession) other than BEV trucks so understandably foreign to most.![]()
I like a balanced frequency response, I really dislike over-exaggerated bass (or any other frequency band). I've found a flat response curve (all sliders centered or nearly so) gives me the balanced sound I love. It's really more up to nuances in individual recordings that might cause me to make a bit of an adjustment if I want to toy with the equalizer.Just for reference, what do most owners have the EQ levels set for the Sub and Bass frequency ranges?
Not a fan of 'Miuddy' sounds myself.....I love that I can crank a song with a good bass track right up and it still sounds tight as a drum, with no annoying rattles, just nice clean and natural sounding punch.
In comparison, OEM truck audio tends to have miuddy sounding bass and aftermarket audio installs often feature unbalanced bass, which just makes me think the owner is compensating for a small member by spending big money on an overly powerful bass.
