$74k trucks in inventory

got a call from a friend that works at hq. he's saying there are quite a few they are feeling pressure to get rid of and more cuts may happen soon.


if this keeps up will the $60k trucks will actually be the all wheel drive version? I was planning to start fulfilling some of my preorders soon but I'm definitely gonna wait till end of Q2 to see what's going on.

you’re seeing as low at 72-74 because of gas savings in the listing. best discount i see on new inventory is -$1600. i plan on moving forward with one here soon. i suspect tesla is trying to push them out for new models, possible 2025 year models eligible for the tax credit.

This is a byproduct of Tesla being "creative" with numbers. You have to dig into the numbers. On the inventory website, click on the price, and it brings up how they manipulated the price by including what they call "Est. 5-Year Gas Savings of $5,500" click on that to remove the checkmark in the box. AND wallah you have the price, before taxes and fees.

With the 2025s eligible for tax credit and the auto market as terrible as it is I’m not surprised, other teslas typically are discounted a bit in inventory so why not CT….plus referral credit went down too

Other full size trucks are discounted 10k plus now, even f150 raptors that are limited production are discounted now anywhere from 3k to 6k I’ve seen

Then deselect "include 5-year est. gas savings."

“Manipulated”? They have been doing this same thing pretty much since day one. But it is nice of you to educate those that don’t know

I don’t think CT prices will go down. Worst case they might offer more incentives for 2024 models, or they will repurpose them as demo vehicles. Beasts have never been used as demo vehicles. Potential buyers will fall head over heels if they test drive Beast. I don’t think demand is a problem for CT. It could be a problem for 2024 FS, as FS was a bad marketing strategy. FS lifetime supercharging is already good enough to clear that inventory.

I don’t understand how reliable these “inside” news are that claim CT demand is dwindling! Probably someone who is trying to short stocks? What’s the best way to short? let’s see.. give your own narrative to folks who are good in believing and spreading it ?‍ ?
