For those of you with the molle panels unused...

...where do you put your entrenching tool, emergency flares, and fire extinguisher?

I have these velcro'd inside my hatch of my Mazda, although I could imagine putting them and the first aid kit in the cabin somewhere. I usually end up using the flares for someone every year or so, so... they get replaced.

A trauma kit is something I have on my motorcycle, too, although I haven't figured out where to put a fire extinguisher or flares on it yet.

-Crissa
This is exactly what I use mine for. Extinguisher mounted on a quick release one side, axe on other. I have two bed dividers, one fitted with packout mounts on horizontal sliding rails I made for power tool battery trays, chainsaw mount etc. the other divider with quick grips/built right mounts for my root slayer shovel.

1.tesla frunk cooler box Always filled with beverages …. Looks really cyber as well .
I use everything others listed as much as they do, but by far the best thing I purchased and use constantly is my cybercooler in front. I put some yeti blocks in bottom, the tesla ones as dividers, and then ice on the drinks…stays cold entire week in Texas summer (and keeps neighbors hands off my beer since it’s not in garage fridge anymore lol).

You just answered two of my questions: are the cyber bins worth it (they’re super expensive) and the rubber bumper covers. Thanks.
The cargo bed divider and the cyber bins are the first things I bought for my non-FS CT. Three Bins fit perfectly in the grooves of the bed and size wise they fill the bed across with the divider located just beyond the smugglers bay. Someone will come up with a cheaper version in time but I needed them fast, everything floats all over the place after shopping otherwise.

Top 4 most used:

1) Martian Wheel Cyberrover wheels and Falken A/T4W off-road tires - These wheels are amazing, and make the Cybertruck look so much cooler! We've had a lot of snow and ice recently, and the CT is a beast with this setup. It feels very confident with no slip at all. My son was amazed last night when we were driving through blizzard conditions. The tires just grip the road - doesn't seem possible.

2) Cybercooler - used this on a trip down south and back. Only had to buy ice a couple of times. Kept solid ice for 3-4 days. Works great for quick grocery trips, when you might want to go out for a meal AFTER you buy groceries.

3) Elecfresh iPhone holder. I love this thing! It's the one that fits in the vent hole. Use it all the time so that I can run Waze maps, Siri, weather, and other apps without FSD cameras flagging me for using my device. Can quickly remove it if I don't want it there since it's spring loaded, and/or move it anywhere along the dash.

4) Elecfresh Safe. I keep valuables and ammo in it. Very easy to install and use. Not compatible with some deeper trays, but I use it with the standard Tesla tray.

Top 4 least used:

1) Elecfresh Cybertruck cover - thought I would need a cover, but even on a 2600 mile road trip it was too much of a hassle to pull the cover out to cover the truck, even when it was raining. It just kind of looks a bit wrinkled and the yellow reflectors are kind of weird looking.

Tesla Cybertruck 3 Most Used and Underused Mods on your Cybertruck? 1737664907594-wi

2) CybergearCo vault divider - I bought this thinking it would work better with the vault liner than the Tesla version. I discovered it was poorly made, the finish was uneven, and it didn't fit well (side to side). Max adjustment meant it was loose. Moving the latch on top scratched the paint. I ended up returning it and buying the Tesla version which is much better quality, and the new Tesla version actually works better with a bed liner and doesn't have the dorky cutouts at the bottom.

3) Tesla vault cargo bins - thought I would use these, and I do keep things in there, but they are cheaply built, and it's kind of a hassle to open them to get things out if they are behind a vault divider. I think I would rather just use some larger waterproof Pelican cases. (not my image), but this shows the better quality Tesla version of the vault divider.

4) Tesla CyberFlask (silver version)

I bought both the black and silver versions of the CyberFlask, and the black is much better (and doesn't show fingerprints). It's bad enough having to clean the truck, let alone a flask. But these flasks keep things really hot (or cold) for a really long period of time.

I've always wondered if that $700 cooler was worth it...sounds like it's solid quality!

I've always been curious about

CyberCooler Pros:
  • Keeps things really cold for 3-4 days with ice and frozen dividers
  • Built in drain making it easy to empty once the ice melts
  • Not too heavy
  • Looks really cool!
CyberCooler Cons:
  • Space is limited
  • Pricey
  • You have to remember to bring the dividers if you're going to be putting something in the cooler, then remember to freeze the dividers again when you get home
  • You should add felt bumpers to the Cybertruck frunk so that the cooler doesn't get scratched

Does this leave any type of crease? I read in the reviews it might do that so just wondering if it was a real issue?
Nope. It doesn't leave a crease at all. The spring mount is very strong, but there is rubber material protecting the dashboard. The people experiencing creases probably let go of the spring base quickly when installing it.

I’ll start with 1 or 2 of each:

By far the most used mod I’ve made is the 3d printed cyber triangle looking door closers I affixed to all 4 doors. Has drastically reduced prints and smudges. I use them much more than I thought I would. I did design my own to save a few bucks, but they look like everyone else’s.

I also use my molle bed divider a lot. I have it in the position just behind the smugglers bay opening, so I can still use that. I printed some small hooks that someone here posted, that are handy with grocery bags. It’s nice so as it stops soda can boxes or large Costco orders from sliding around or having to be tied down.

This is a given, but now more and more non foundation owners are coming in. The d rings in the floor and tie down points on the bed rails get used constantly. Along with some cheaper tie downs from harbor freight. The pull-to-tighten ones. Not ratchet. I use my bed constantly and this has already set it far apart from the trail boss it replaced. Extremely practical.

Least used is are the inside sail molle panels. They look cool I guess. Not really actually. I don’t have anything I need attached there at all times. And the molle holes are too small for my tie down hooks. The amount of force they can withstand from things pulling on them is small too. I use the bed for big items a lot, so stuff there would get in the way. I wish I hadn’t bought them, but used my voucher so it’s whatever.

I also don’t use the frunk net thing very often.
I’ve mounted a fire extinguisher to the inside sail Molle panel. Makes it out-of-the-way and yet accessible.

Great post and I love your wheels. Just curious as to whether you run those Martian Wheels in a full beadlock?

Initially I had them set up in standard mode, but they looked horrible with a huge gap:

Tesla Cybertruck 3 Most Used and Underused Mods on your Cybertruck? 1737683802045-xs

I tried without the beadlock plate, and they looked kind of neat this way, but decided I wanted to go full beadlock:

Tesla Cybertruck 3 Most Used and Underused Mods on your Cybertruck? 1737683952444-lh

So I found a place that would install in beadlock configuration, and they look much better now:

I'm very particular about checking the bolt torque regularly, but I'm not doing beast mode launches in this mode. It's nice that the truck tells you the PSI of each tire so you can verify tire pressure regularly. I will use them mainly for winter/snow/occasional offroading and switch to standard tires/rims/aerocovers during the summer months.
