Key cards no longer unlock truck

Amazing that so many CT owners wasted all that time at service centers when we all knew as owners that it was a soft ware problem. Sorry those of you who left your truck overnight to get a new unnecessary card reader panel. Poor communication at Tesla service centers network.

Can anyone confirm if they are able to scan a new key card in the vehicle?

My locking/unlocking works with my key card just fine now but I'm still unable to add any new additional cards. Unfortunately I deleted one of my cards when the issue first started and thought I would just need to re-add it.

Just tested my key card after updating to 45.32.10 and it unlocks and locks the cybertruck. My next test will be to try to add my apple watch as a key, it kept on giving me a 'session timeout' error on the watch before when I tried to pair it.

Adding key works. Need to use original key card on phone pad with key you want to add. Place new card on pad then put original key on top of it—it adds right away

My CB key card unlock/lock also now works after latest SW update. I only verified 1 card so far.

Mine started working but only the driver side…go figure…
Oh geeze, I didn't even try the passenger side.

I think it’s crazy that this is a known issue and Tesla is taking this long for a fix. I guess data shows the key cards are used less than 20% of the time.
Inconsistent issues are tough to diagnose. If their Service Centers weren't so spread thin it'd be easier to solve, too.

Amazing that so many CT owners wasted all that time at service centers when we all knew as owners that it was a soft ware problem.
Software updates are slow, and service centers can trigger reset conditions that users generally cannot.

Also, they couldn't be certain it wasn't a hardware issue, either, without service center reports.
