  1. My Airwave module has been unable to adjust left/right since day one.
  2. The driver’s door does not sit flush, but it closes perfectly and does not leak.
  3. There’s a perfectly-straight, untextured line all along the left rear quarter panel.
  4. The tonneau won’t fully close most of the time.

No one else had noticed any of these issues, and they detract not one iota of joy from driving it.

I have that Tonneau issue, it closes, then re-opens and stays open, I agree the truck drives insane and is a shit ton of fun! thank you

I've had 6 Teslas so far, currently there are 4 at my house and I'm very happy with them and everyone at the SC. I would occasionally even buy food for everyone at the SC to show them my gratitude for their strong work ethics and wonderful customer services. Trust me, this never cross my mine at any of the ICE stealerships (even Rivian, had owned 3 of them) that I have had ever dealt with in the past. Tesla has consistently offer me the best ownership experiences. I will continue to invest in this company and purchase their products.

Should have bought a used one on Carvana, their truck drivers an outstanding professionals and double as courtesy vehicle concierges.

Note: sounds like Tesla doesn’t need or want your money or satisfaction.

Several folks have had the tonneau issue on here. There is a way to calibrate it, but I can't remember how to do it. The SC will do it for you though. Don't just accept the problem, write it up and have them fix it, as it is not supposed to do that.

The panel warping is highly dependent. I will say that no CT has perfectly straight, flat panels. If you look down the side of my truck from the back you will see all kinds of waves. From the side its barely noticeable. They all warp to some degree. It's the nature of the steel. The rib line down the truck however in my experience has been almost perfect though. IOW unless they are almost bent or bent in the wrong place they may not do anything.

They delivered my cybertruck locked blocking my driveway in the middle of the night, no previous notice, no way to communicate. Inexcusable for a purchase of that magnitude and possibly criminal trepass. Just horrible customer service. Second Tesla purchase, stockholder.

So, I took delivery of my Cyber on February 28th at the Irvine center in OC/CA. and let me tell you, Tesla delivery suck, they suck so bad, that I cannot recommend Tesla to anyone, (full disclosure, I have had 3 Teslas, and my security position is full on Tesla, I'm a massive fan of the company) but he company suck.

You cannot buy an $80K car and get not even a bottle of water or a cup of coffee when you take delivery, call me old school, but having some people "take care of you" is freaking peak human value and high quality of life, this is not, sucks ass.

The car is full of issues, alignments, inside trims off, a bolt came out while I'm driving, cracks and sounds from the dashboard, weird ultra high wind noises on speeds close to 80mph (annoying, can't hear anything) a bizarre motor whinning (other than the typical whine, which I love)... so on so forth, I, insisted to see someone before I took delivery and all that guys said: oh, take it home and open a service center issue, which I was going to punch him in the face for being so nonchalant and un-engaged....
I came home, I opened a ticket, now they coming on Tuesday to look and "fix things", so like I said, no honeymoon for the cybertruck....

My Tesla 3 2018 at the time was better than this, I'm sorry in this day and age, at that price, a little effort goes a long way, if Tesla doens't fix this car, I'm taking them to court, no joke, I have no elasticity on this one!!!!

this is the most Un-American, American Made product I got.

I dunno if a lot of people had had or are having similar issues.

FYI my Vin is in the 66K and more.

2 pics are just examples of that outrageous sloppiness.

OK i have owned 7 Tesla's Since 2016 I have three now 2016S,2022S and a 2024 Cybertruck there are a few things I am not happy about the main one is I still do not have power Share for the Cybertruck BUT even with any issue I might have there is NO EV out there that can compare with the Tesla's. I did look at other EV especially EV Trucks and have not found any I would buy.

Sorry to hear about your troubles in California. I had the opposite experience in San Antonio. I took Cybertruck delivery in Feb 2024 and Model 3 delivery in December 2024. Both were fantastic experiences. The coffee bar, sodas and water flowed freely. Sales and Service has always been more than courteous. I had the known warranty issues with the CT and each time, I received a new loaner (Xs and Ys) vehicles.

You should really let Tesla have it when you receive your survey. No excuse for what happened to you.

Wait, they delivered to your home? I had to travel 13 miles to sit in a waiting room!

What's wrong with the powershare?

I hate to say it, but I think you were just unlucky. For some reason, the Cybertruck that was assigned to you came off the assembly line with some problems. I took delivery of mine several months ago and have only had one issue and it was pretty minor. Something was defective with the Bluetooth module and so it wasn’t connecting with my phone. I took it in. They gave me a free loaner Tesla for a day and I picked up my CT the following day I think.

As for reaching somebody on the phone at Customer Service or trying to get a prompt response to voicemails. I think all the big companies are doing that these days. Basically they’re trying to save money by not employing enough people to cover the phones. Sucks.

I think if you had not accepted delivery of the vehicle maybe they would’ve assigned you a different Cybertruck? But since you accepted delivery, I suspect your only option is to bring it into them and let them repair it. I’m guessing they’ll repair the issues for free. It just may take a little time.

Sorry to hear of your frustration, that sucks.

Must be that one Tesla service center. I pick mine up back in July of 2024 and had an excellent service experience they were very attentive they had coffee snacks. The service agent was very helpful even help me set up Spotify to my phone and gave me a rundown on how to drive it. And the follow-up service i've done for it like for the tunneau cover that didn't close properly, took it in dropped it off they gave me a model X plaid to use overnight went back the next day picked it up everything was fixed no complaints by far the best service I've had from any dealership.

Because I have Tesla Solar Panels and Tesla Power Wall, Telsa does not have firmware yet that allows me to use Power Share
I have Powershare and I'm in the process of getting the Powerwalls. From what I've been told the powerwalls won't power anything on the powershare circuit. It's not much, but still.
After having Powershare for a few months and evaluating the powerwalls I can definitively say don't worry about it, unless you've already installed the powershare gateway.
I wish I'd made the decision sooner to get the solar panels and walls and used the money from the powershare system and install to buy the powerwalls. It's effectively the same thing, but with a smaller battery. Between the panels and PW you won't be without power for a couple of days making the PS system redundant. Keep in mind PS won't Power your whole home unless you have a very small house.

As far as Service Center experience, I have had no issues, Things have changed since I bought my first Tesla in 2016 but overall, I have no complaints.

No, you are better of not having the solar Panels or the power wall first.
Those who do not have the power walls and solar installed first get Power Share
