So, I took delivery of my Cyber on February 28th at the Irvine center in OC/CA. and let me tell you, Tesla delivery suck, they suck so bad, that I cannot recommend Tesla to anyone, (full disclosure, I have had 3 Teslas, and my security position is full on Tesla, I'm a massive fan of the company) but he company suck.

You cannot buy an $80K car and get not even a bottle of water or a cup of coffee when you take delivery, call me old school, but having some people "take care of you" is freaking peak human value and high quality of life, this is not, sucks ass.

The car is full of issues, alignments, inside trims off, a bolt came out while I'm driving, cracks and sounds from the dashboard, weird ultra high wind noises on speeds close to 80mph (annoying, can't hear anything) a bizarre motor whinning (other than the typical whine, which I love)... so on so forth, I, insisted to see someone before I took delivery and all that guys said: oh, take it home and open a service center issue, which I was going to punch him in the face for being so nonchalant and un-engaged....
I came home, I opened a ticket, now they coming on Tuesday to look and "fix things", so like I said, no honeymoon for the cybertruck....

My Tesla 3 2018 at the time was better than this, I'm sorry in this day and age, at that price, a little effort goes a long way, if Tesla doens't fix this car, I'm taking them to court, no joke, I have no elasticity on this one!!!!

this is the most Un-American, American Made product I got.

I dunno if a lot of people had had or are having similar issues.

FYI my Vin is in the 66K and more.

2 pics are just examples of that outrageous sloppiness.

I bought my CT at the same location and received more love when buying a cup of coffee, kind of weird And not a great start. Seems like such an obvious improvement initiative. Pretty much the same when I bought my S in 2020. Hummmm

When I picked mine up in October all I got was sign here, here’s your key cards and good luck. Nothing wrong with the truck though from then till now.

Back in 2016 they greeted You as you came in sat in the car and went over the entre car you received 2 Tesla mugs, umbrella and a Tesla Hat. But still today it only takes about 5 minutes once you arrive to get your car, I'd rather have that compare to the BS at a regular car dealer Ship, I prefer Tesla.

I picked up my AWD Cybertruck from the Irvine Service Center on February 13th last month and I know what you mean. I commented to my family when I got home how if you wanted any interaction with a Tesla person you pretty much don't get it. I didn't care about not getting their attention as I've owned Tesla's for over 4 years now, but if I was new to Tesla I would have been frustrated. They do provide a lot of videos via the app, but you're on your own. It was very rainy that day so I really couldn't check out the vehicle and had to wait until I got home to look it over. I do have it at a service center to get a couple door finish issues and to fix the speakers. After a week, all speakers except the 2 or 3 dash speakers stopped working. I read a post on this site with some other people having this same exact issue that Tesla resolved. This experience hasn't soured me against Tesla as I love their vehicles and tech.

Last week when I was at Tesla, I found myself walking over and talking to Potential new car buyers because they were being ignored by Tesla staff. After that I went to one of the Tesla Staff and told them they need to correct that.

There are two extremes at a traditional Car dealership you feel like you're being attacked and at Tesla you are being totally. It's is ok if you have experience buying a Tesla but new car buyers need assistance. For me it's Great been buying them now for 9 years.

My delivery in Sunnyvale CA on 27 Jan was great! I didn’t need much though and the truck looked good so I left! Really efficient from an investor perspective. Sure, they could have had more glamour….and they misspelled my name on the little card on my dash but minor stuff. I also found some plastic clips but again, the rest was fine. I guess when it comes down to it, you either accept it and drive away or reject it and take the next steps? I’m just over a month out and no issues -fingers crossed! ?

Tesla showrooms and service centers can get hundreds of visitors per day who are there just to browse on their own. The staff there have probably been trained to allow people to look on their own without being pestered or questioned.

If folks come up and want personal tours, they will come up to the front desk and ask. Otherwise, it's expected that they don't want to be swarmed. Most people are extremely putt off from the traditional stealership styles of aggressive sales.

I partially agree like I said there are two extremes when I was there when one potential customer was looking for help and asked for help and all they did is point to a car outside and just kept on talking to each other. so, i walked over and told them to go out and help answer his questions.

I have 5 Tesla Vehicles including 2 Cybertrucks. We loved the delivery process. If I wanted coffee or water, I would have stopped at Starbucks, I don't expect Tesla to feed me. Also, I have never been in a Tesla Service center that didn't have coffee or water. As far as the other issues you had, sounds like you are a cry baby. Tesla will fix what ever the problems are. I will say the Tesla service sucks as far as getting immediate repair goes. Good luck

My experience wasn't great but I didn't need it already being a Tesla owner. I got there "Open the Tesla app, congrats now go find your truck" and it was across the street in a parking lot.

They have water, coffee, soda all there if I wanted it so that's not an issue. There was smply no real hoorah thanks for buying a $120k truck from us.

Meh, as soon as I sat in it, IDGAS and still don't! haha!

With that said, Tesla need to step up their Customer Service game because it's way too hit or miss SC to SC.

Hey brother I am in Irvine, picked up my CT April last year at Irvine center, Barranca. I had the same pickup experience I guess in the future food and vehicle delivery will be in 'pill' form.

If you want to compare your CT, I'd be happy to meet up during the week in OC. The noise at speed is odd - the CT is super quiet.

I take mine to Tesla service in Tustin, not the Irvine center I picked it up. Tesla service = Tesla service. It is not Mercedes level of service..that is not their demographic.

Fortunately for Tesla, BMW lowered my expectations for service!.

Regards
Jack

Sucks you had a bad experience. I had a pretty decent experience. I was one of the first 10 to get a cybertruck in my area, top 4 with a beast. I was told where the free water and snacks were then the sales guy gave me two Tesla umbrellas to go with the truck. A full sit down with one of the sales or technicians and he went through every option on the truck.
The next service center over is just as nice to me when I go in for service.

I see, okay, yeah drives very normal and well, what about this super loud wind noise when you get over 70ish ? is it the shape?
Not sure what superloud is. The only time I get "louder than normal" wind noise is on a strong cross wind. Overall the vehicle does a pretty good job of deading exterior noise.

"I, insisted to see someone before I took delivery and all that guys said: oh, take it home and open a service center issue, which I was going to punch him in the face for being so nonchalant and un-engaged...."

This sentence tells me everything I need to know.
