Pickup is rush would be great if they can just drop off my CT at driveway.
After five years owning two teslas, First time I have to go to service to pick up my wheels hub and the service guy is great, carried my wheels hub out and installed for me. Will see how it goes when light bar being installed.

I'm not sure why people expect someone to kiss their ass and throw them a party when they pick up a vehicle from a delivery center. I will take the purchasing and delivery experience at Tesla over a legacy dealership hassle any day.

I will never buy a car from a dealership again, and if the process of pick up is anything other than connecting to the car on my phone and leaving, I'm out as well.

So, I took delivery of my Cyber on February 28th at the Irvine center in OC/CA. and let me tell you, Tesla delivery suck, they suck so bad, that I cannot recommend Tesla to anyone, (full disclosure, I have had 3 Teslas, and my security position is full on Tesla, I'm a massive fan of the company) but he company suck.

You cannot buy an $80K car and get not even a bottle of water or a cup of coffee when you take delivery, call me old school, but having some people "take care of you" is freaking peak human value and high quality of life, this is not, sucks ass.

The car is full of issues, alignments, inside trims off, a bolt came out while I'm driving, cracks and sounds from the dashboard, weird ultra high wind noises on speeds close to 80mph (annoying, can't hear anything) a bizarre motor whinning (other than the typical whine, which I love)... so on so forth, I, insisted to see someone before I took delivery and all that guys said: oh, take it home and open a service center issue, which I was going to punch him in the face for being so nonchalant and un-engaged....
I came home, I opened a ticket, now they coming on Tuesday to look and "fix things", so like I said, no honeymoon for the cybertruck....

My Tesla 3 2018 at the time was better than this, I'm sorry in this day and age, at that price, a little effort goes a long way, if Tesla doens't fix this car, I'm taking them to court, no joke, I have no elasticity on this one!!!!

this is the most Un-American, American Made product I got.

I dunno if a lot of people had had or are having similar issues.

FYI my Vin is in the 66K and more.

2 pics are just examples of that outrageous sloppiness.

You are 100% correct CEM. I am also a shareholder and can't believe what they try to pass off. From my first purchase when a 20 year old kid was telling me you had to pickup the car when they wanted, not when the customer wanted with the threat of giving the car away to someone else.
I recently went into a show room to look at the Model X with lifetime supercharging. The kid behind the counter was telling me it still qualified for $7,500 tax credit. I had to show him that the price reflected anticipated fuel saving. When removed the price jumped $5K.
He told me free supercharging could be passed to a new owner and was a selling benefit. I showed him the fine print that said it was only for original owner.
Very disappointing..

Respecting my time is the thanks I'm looking for.

I hear your frustration and agree. I love my truck, huge fan of Tesla, have the stock etc etc. I have said it before, their weak spot is the service/deliver centers and at this point they have no excuses to get that part right. From pre delivery, final inspection to hand over to the client is inconsistent at best and no where close to where it needs to be. I had your same frustration and it took me a couple months to get it all sorted out with the service center.

Tesla experience is the worst. They have the worst customer service. Try getting a hold of a person to speak with. The Cybertruck is my last Tesla. Once they are passed on the kids as their learner vehicles, we will buy a Rivian or Lucid. Service may be just as bad, but I'm done with Tesla. My experience of getting a light bar installed has been a nightmare. They can't even follow their own service manual which said Mount and Solder Only. Took 4 different Tesla service center visits before one finally said they were wrong and will solder it for me.
You got a lightbar????? Wow! I wish I could get mine!!!!

My service center said they never got any. Lucky you!

I took delivery in Carlsbad, CA. My truck is great - (my opinion) the delivery office and people - suck at delivery! The delivery person had very little idea on how to complete the transaction. He did not know what accessories were included or who to explain what they were. I think we got my phone synced up - then he was done. They suck! Saleman sucks too!
Please read your SELLING AGREEMENT. It has an Arbitration Clause that goes hard in 30 days from signing - unless you write to tell them otherwise. If It were me, with all that stuff falling off of the truck and terrible fitment, I would look up the California Lemon Law - then get legel help to dump that crappy truck back in Tesla's lap. My experience with Tesla management after the sale is that they are as bad or worse than your delivery person. Don't give them one inch - because they won't give you the time of day - GO AFTER THEM! It's the only thing they understand - but READ your selling agreement - now. I'm no attorney, nor am I offering legal advice. Just my personal opinion. I would not let them rest! Whaoo - Gitty up!

Tesla showrooms and service centers can get hundreds of visitors per day who are there just to browse on their own. The staff there have probably been trained to allow people to look on their own without being pestered or questioned.

If folks come up and want personal tours, they will come up to the front desk and ask. Otherwise, it's expected that they don't want to be swarmed. Most people are extremely putt off from the traditional stealership styles of aggressive sales.
I agree. The showrooms are where you can ask questions and I’ve found them to be great. I still prefer the whole Tesla experience over typical car sales, by far. It’s so easy, no pressure and stress free.

Bottom Line is for me Tesla is the easiest car to Purchase and take delivery than any other car. It took me 5 minutes to get approved for financing and 5 minutes to get my car at Service center. Nothing compares it's the best ever.

Our Model Y pickup at the Irvine SC was totally stress free.

We arrived 30 minutes early and went over the car with a fine tooth comb. We went back in the office to accept the car, synced up our cell phones and drove straight to our frontal PPF appointment.

Our rep was friendly, helpful and didn't rush us at all. The car was also freshly washed before delivery.

I hate car dealerships. I hate them so much. I always feels stressed out there. The last time I stopped by one to look at a used van the guy attacked and started giving me a sob story how he needed sales to support his family. I never went back lol

Not to mention the dumb haggling and the extra crap they try to get you to buy. It's a terrible system.

Haha, I have collected a handful of "bonus parts" from mine, but my VIN is 38xx so I wasn't all that surprised. ?

This is one of the highest quality builds ever seen in auto manufacturing. I’m not sure what you did to your Cybertruck. But Elon said sub 10 micron accuracy and he meant it.
