You’re not the ass. You’re entirely correct but we’re all idiots for putting up with this stuff from Tesla. Just because someone thinks you’re gonna go to a maximum security prison for getting some hub covers doesn’t make them right, lol.

I tried that trick 2 times. Each time SC manager tries to order the lightbar, it's shows as unavailable. He told me Tesla is allocating them to the largest concentration of Cybertruck cities first. There's only around 115 Cybertruck in my city so we are low priority compared to Phoenix where they have over a thousand of them...

Try setting a different SC when you make the appointment. You might also be able to mobile service to come out an install it. I think you're just getting a SC manager that doesn't want to push or anything.

Thanks to a power outage due to bad storms last night I'm shuttling my light bar from one Tesla center to another for install. Technically I have a light bar! Will update once it is installed but I thought how fun to snap a pic of the box. ?

Depending on where you're located, Tesla may not install their light bar due to DMV rules.
It that is the case for you, and you live in the greater So. California area, @Unpluggedperformance can install the Tesla Light Bar for you.

Do you have any pictures of the OEM light bar installed? Can you see the backside of the light bar from inside of the CT cab?

I'm omw over to pick up the truck shortly and I assume connect my wires. I will take plenty of pictures and post here ASAP.

Ok I picked it up and as I suspected Tesla did not wire up the lightbar, I have to do that when I get back home or if I go buy some solderless connectors and hook it up before I get home. I did promise some pictures so here are a few.

There is no way you can see the lightbar from inside the Cybertruck, look closely the blacked out portion of the glass that it sits on extends several inches below the light bar.

I drove at speeds up to 85mph with no wind noise on the way back to my hotel.

The gap between bar and glass looks small and even across the windshield.

The black tape still covers the lights, I kind of like that look.

I will post more when I get it all hooked up and tested. Until it is wired in it does not show up on screen.

It's stealing if you take something that isn't yours... if a company makes an error, that doesn't mean it's right to keep their property. That's how I was raised, that's how I'd want someone to treat me if I accidentally gave someone something I didn't mean to.

I just can't, in good conscious, keep something that I didn't pay for or earn or was gifted on purpose.

Everyone's different, I get it. But, someone somewhere paid for those caps.

The staff at stateline seems pretty friendly but It always seems like they are being rushed. kinda sad we dont get those little print out papers with our names on them saying congratulations when we buy a new car from there lol at least i havent on my last 3 teslas. Congrats on getting your lightbar finally tho!

500 mile to the next service is a big commitment. Props to you! And here I am thinking the hour long drive to stateline from Topeka is rough lol
